In the middle of an isolated room. Arora sat on a chair , her head spinning, hands tied at the back, each foot tied with the wooden toes of the chair. The footsteps were heard after which a muscular figure emerged from the dark.
"Ya might ev done it the easy way. Gal" his eyes shinned with a sense of superiority, the smile behind his beard spoke of his intentions.
"What easy way? How many times will I have to tell you that I'm of no use to you."
"Aow can ya be no use to us, ya are is girl. Even if ya dont tell us. Ee will come runnin for ya."
Will he? It was still a question yet to be answered but she prayed that he didn't come. If he did all her efforts would lay unarmed.
She could just tell and leave. It was easy for her. They have been asking for Lee's new number ever since they took her. But she would never do that, she would never let them track lewis. She relived the moments when lee was leaving. She wanted to tell him that the truth laid open to her. She had unintentionally read Anna's letter. Since then she understood lewis had a big game going on and decided not to interfere much, yet she supported him all she could. Now She couldn't let herself to think of the hurt lee would face when he came to know that John was after him. John belonged to Rays. One of the royal family. As she snapped back from her thoughts, she found John standing in front of her.
"How could you John? He's your best friend." His face was blank as if all the motions had been taken away from him leaving behind an empty rock.
"A wise man once said. Family is not an important thing, it's everything..
All I am doing is protecting my family."
"By being with people who took over someone else's authority.???"
"No by being with people who own it. And Lewis doesn't even know who he is. So it doesn't even matter."
So he didn't know about his memory getting back. I was the only person who did. And about the letter too.
Arora wished badly that she could somehow send a signal to lee.
"And my dear Arora. Why are you taking all of this to your heart? You are better off without him. Just think of your future if you join me."
Join him? Was he blind?? Didn't he see how much she loved Lewis.
"Together we can conquer heights."
"You can never conquer heights by reaching low. Remember that jake."
She couldn't beleive that her friend would betray her like this. He was the first person who had came to know about Arora and Lewis being together and was the happiest one too. She never thought he could turn this cruel. She regretted every day spent with him. It was right behind the most innocent smiles, laid the most cold humans. It was the same jake they had laughed infinitely with, wearing the same old colours but was now brushed differently.

"There's still no call from them."
"Call your parents maybe they know something?"
Then I told them my parents weren't actually conciousness. They had been mocked to comma.
"What??" Anna spoke up. It was now morning and Lev was back too.
"Lev are you thinking the same thing?" Anna referred to Lev.
"Yes, Lee we think that we are not the only ones who know you're alive. Your parents aren't just in comma. They might have been artificially induced to it." Lev said
"And now Arora." Anna added.
They were right. It was all making sense now. Father was just in the middle of speaking out the whole reality when it happened. It had to be planned.
"I have to save arora. I Need to leave." I pulled on my jacket.
"And where do you plan to find her?"
My steps got stoned in the very place I was standing. Where would I find her? I didn't even know who took her. All I knew was her being in danger because of me.
I took up my phone. There was only one person she might be with besides me and it was John. I was just about to make the call when Anna stopped me.
She took away my phone switcehd it off, and took out my sim
"That should do."
For I moment I was stunned at her behaviour then I realized
She must be worried that I might be tracked or something by my phone but it was'nt that easy.
"Give it back. No one has my number dear sister." I pouted at her. It made me remember the time when we used to play hide and seek I always liked to hide under the bed, she always pouted like this when she found me.
Then I placed the sim back and called John.
"Hey john? This is Lewis."
"Dear Lewis. I have been waiting for your call. Where have you been all this time?"
He was waiting? Right. I had'nt told anyone before leaving not even him.
"Yeah I was just busy. Do you know where Arora is? Her phone's switched off."
"I'm sorry I don't."
"Okay. She might just be asleep."
"Yeah maybe.". I ended the call. Something was off about his tone. He never talked to me like this. Maybe he was with his family. Behind me Anna and Lev were talking. Lev had got out the syringe filled with blood. It was the same syringe from yesterday, having my blood.
"Le-v the drip is finished. I feel weak." She was still laying in the bed with lev sitting at one side. I was standing a few feet away from them.
"Don't worry You don't need the drip now."
"What do you mean?" I popped in their conversation.
"Lee I tested your blood. It is true. You are the cure." I glared at him in amusement then He took her arm, opened the syringe and injected the blood into Anna's body. We all stayed quiet for some time. Anna's eyes were closed. We all hoped it to work.
"How are you feeling??" Lev asked.
" I-I need to vomit." Anna straightened her back immediately and in a split of second she was vomiting.
I held her hair back. While she vomitted out a black coloured liquid. Something sticky black that got absorbed in the muddy floor on reaching.
Was it supposed to be like this?? Will she be fine??
She vomited black until only saliva was left.
"Anna are you okay???" I exclaimed my voice fill of worry.
"Never been better." She looked up and smiled at both of us.
