Chapter 26 : Lev's Confession.

Lewis's POV

It had been three days and there was no answer from them. I was still unsure of what had happened. Me never being a collected person. I had grown now. I had never thought these hurdles would be a part of my life. But now I was living them.
I glanced at Anna who slept shamelessly in my bed. Well she deserved that after what she had been through. She was stronger than me. Arora was also asleep on the couch. She had refused to go home until the matter was all sorted..Lev was out to buy some food. I thought about what John did almost everyday. But in a way it felt good to know who were my real friends.  I did lose a best friend but inturn I had found true ones.
After Anna gave me the papers I had them sent to Mr.Alonzo the continent's president through Mr.Wilson who worked in a law firm.
John's parents must have already had got the notice for handing over the bussiness to the real owners. They did'nt have any other choice because they had been suffering from black blood now and would also be arrested soon, we had enough proof over them.

I went to the kitchen made some coffee and sat in the lounge.
Arora was almost awake now. On spotting me on the floor, she came over and sat with me. She wore the same jeans but a lose blue shirt over them.
"So what are we thinking?." She said tying her hair in a messy bun.
"Just thinking about Lev and Anna. Do you see it?" I wonderred taking a sip of my coffee.
"Yeah. They both like eachother but neither of them steps forward.." Arora said. 
I had been thinking of what to answer. Afterall lev and Anna were'nt the only ones unsure about their future.
The doorbell rang. It was Lev. Wearing a suit and He had brought white roses.
"White roses?" I asked.
"Yeah they're Anna's favourite." He lowerred his eyes to the flowers and smiled at them.
"So go and get the girl what are you waiting for?" I said in a cheerful tone but he did'nt move. Instead he looked at me with concern.
Why would he do that?
"Don't worry. You have my approval Young man." I winked at him and he sighed in relief.
"Thanks." He came inside after closing the door headed straight to the room.
I hurried towards Arora.
"Conversation re-started. He's going to propose her."
"Are you serious?" She jumped in excitement.
"Yes" looking at my room's door I smirked.
Arora caught my hand and started intentionally dragging me.
"Where are we going?" I asked her.
"Are'nt we going to see the proposal??."
"And interupt them? No." I stopped in my way.
"Oh no we're not going to interupt. Just come."

We both were now hanging outside the door and spying on them.
Lev tip toed towards Anna who was still asleep. He Leaned over to her.
"Time to wake up dear Anna." Lev wisperred in her ear.
"Oh shut up. Let me sleep." She practically kicked him off the bed. Fortunately Lev managed to stay standing. Anna was never an early bird. He was going to suffer that.
"So you want it to be done your way." Lev talked to himself then slowly sat near her on the bed, he settled himself so that his lips were near her ear and shouted.
"I THINK I LOVE YOU ANNA." Arora and I wisper laughed at seeing a shocked Anna who pulled off her blanket making Lev stand up. Her face filled with messy black hair.
"Who the hell do you think you are shouting things in my ear while asleep." She shouted back at him.
He cleared his throat "Well no one in particular."
"W-wait."  Then Anna was quiet for a while. Anna and quietness never went with eachother.
"Did you just admit that you love me?" She widened her eyes at Lev. Her face blushed with pink.
He smirked back offering her the flowers and replied.
"Oh I did. Did I?"
  After that they were all over eachother so I and Arora decided not to interfare and came back to the lounge.
"Well that went well." You want coffee??" I said taking up my cup of coffee from the floor.
"No I think I'll make breakfast." She got up and went into the kitchen when the doorbell rang.
I cheked the door it was John. He was wearing a black jacket with black pants and sneakers.
"What do you want now?" I asked him.
"Why did'nt you tell them I was invovled?" Oh. So they must have got the notice. Yes I did'nt tell on him.
"Because John you might backstab me. But I always thought of you as my best friend. I can't do to you what was done to me"
"But you can." He told me.
"Yes But I don't choose to be like you." He pressed his lips tight. His mouth opening then closing again. I guess he did'nt had the right words to say.
Then he cleared his throat and said.
"Your parents are fine now. They will be awake in the next twenty four hours."
The way he said it I knew he was'nt lying. He had lost everything in this journey. He even looked like a wreck. A part of me wanted to feel sorry for him but then he had built his own path.
"Okay wait." I went inside opened the safe in the refrigerator and got out a small bottle of my blood.
I handed it to John.
"What's this?"
"The cure to black blood. I guess you'll need it. I never planned for your parents to die."
He looked at me in surprise. I turned my face away to unlock our eyes.
"Lee I'm sorry." No. I could'nt let the conversation go any furthur.
"It's Lewis."
Before he could reply I shut the door.
