Arora's POVIn a count of ten he fainted.
Then she ran into the room. Eyeing the structure. A double bed in the centre, a site table with a small book holding a pen. She went inside took up the book. With the book she found two more things. A blade and some cream. On looking thoroughly she made out that it was a shaving cream. John's shaving cream. One side of her lips widened on the realization. She placed the book back for a while and took them up. Then she tip toed towards John. She danced her hand in front of his face to know if he was still unconsciously. He was.
"Now lets have some fun. Should we?"
Saying that she slowly applied the shaving cream on half of his head and shaved it. Afterwards she went back grabbed the book and took out a blank page. On it she wrote.
"You called it upon yourself. Remember?" Then she stuck the neatly folded note in John's mouth.
"That should do." Dusting the dirt away from her hands she smiled to herself.Proceeding her journey she checked the other two rooms, one looked like some couples room, maybe John's parents with wedding photographs and the interior, while the other was a guest room. Mercifully both the rooms were empty. Her mind momentarily thought about their absence, putting the notion aside she kept motioning forward to find the exit. In three years of friendship John had never invited them over to this house. This wasn't his Royal house. It tended to be huge whereas this was merely a place where John lived. A second home for him.
The house must have a history, she thought to herself after looking at the antique walls and decorations in the lounge. The furniture was wooden but looked old and well kept, the wall hanging contained framed certificates of Rays. There was also a rack filled with history books. Subsequebtly she found the exit. The outdoor was at the corner of the lounge. She hussled towards the door but stopped midway.
What if someone's outside? Afterall it's a Royal family.
This time she peekd through the window at the left side of exit door. She pulled back one side of a lacy white curtain and looked out. It was daytime blue, sky filled with sunrays. A small front yard full of green and a garage on the left that led to a gate.
Moreover three guards were spotted on duty. One outside the door, one roaming in the garrage and a gate-keeper.
Never knew I was this important.************
Lewis POV
We reached profenyork at about 10Am. It was Monday, a college day to be precise , normal terms applied. I wore a completely different attire. A cap covered my hair and sunglasses protected my eyes. Due to a week of not shaving my mouth were semi coverred in hair which fitted perfectly to my new personality. After sending Lev off to his part of the show, I went home straight with Anna. Anna was recovering well. She was now healthy and could walk and run on her own.
I was glad to have her back but I could'nt risk taking her with me.
"You sure you can do this on your own Lee?" Anna said settling on the couch.
"Of course big sister." I Put on a confident smile while opening the locker to take out father's gun. There were two I figured both were needed.
"Here take this.: I offered one to Anna.
"You giving me your spare gun? Just like old times." She was right when we were young I always forced her to play waterguns with me. I always insited dad for buying two guns instead of one. Anna used to be as happy as me to have it.
"Yeah but be careful it's not a watergun this time." I gave her a responsible look.
"Don't worry just go get the girl." She grabbed the gun and I went.
As I left my house my mind constantly drifted over and over to different places where John would keep Arora. The Royal house? No. Maybe his other house. John had once invited me in a small house for homework. It was his ancestors house not many people kmew about it. He must have kept her there. I found a taxi and went there right away.
All the way my mind reincenerated the memories of Arora and me. How young we were when we met and the last goodbye I had said to her. She had a worried look in her eyes. I should have taken her with me. What if she was'nt well? No. She had to be well.
"Hold on I'm coming for you Arora." I said to no one in particular.
*********I reached in twenty minutes it was about 12pm now. The house was jist a few feet away. I started walking as I heard voices coming my way. The black antique gate became visible. The front gate was half open. The house was visible execpt the voices. From Beneath of the other half of the gate two sets of feet prominent. Ome were black boots and the second were grey sneakers. Wait. I had seen those sneakers. The faint pitch was clear now, I tip toed towards the gate and partially leaned my head inside to see what was going on. To my surprise there was a guy wearing military uniform and the same boots blocking my view. He was half shivering. A small black metal thing was on his head. It was a gun. Someone was pointing a gun on the front of his head.
"You sure you know nothing about the plan?" A familiar voice spoke in an alarming tone.
"No ma'am I'I am j-just a guard w-wh-o wo-r.." before he could complete his sentece Arora literally hit the side of his head with the same gun. Ironic.
Feeling dizzy he fell backwards. I intentionally stepped forward and catched him. Clearing my view of Arora and two similar unconciouss men.
"Never knew you had thing for guns and unconciouss men." I said in surprise while laying the guy on floor.
For a second she just stood, her crimson blue eyes lost in mine. Then her lips curved a little dropping out the words.
"Never knew you had a thing for Royalty and foes." And then she actually jumped and embraced me. I returned her embrace. She felt warm, a return to one's motherland, the home. I had been missing the feeling for quite a while now.
"Well well well, don't you guys look cute together?" A half haired person stood in the battlefield.
"I'm sure death will do you apart." He pointed a rifle at both of us.
''Now who wishes to die first??" My best friend was looking me in the eye.
"You." A female sound jumped in our conversation and in no time a fire was heard. Arora and I both rotated back to see where the shot had come from.
"And I thought you could handle it yourself. Young brother." Anna rolled her eyes and blew away the smoke of her gun.
