"So we're here. You can stop putting on a brave face now."
My consciousness came back by her words.
"Uh . Brave what?" I asked her.
"Stop acting I know you're scared of fast driving. The last time I drove you in your car you started yelling remember??"
I was shocked of how did it not happen today. Was it because I was engrossed in my own thoughts. I've had never been so deeply lost in thoughts... thoughts of killing her?
Such surprisingly evil thoughts were roaming in my mind. There was this tree during the journey that made me think of turning the steering wheel towards it. Then there was this river asking for her body. But above all why didn't I yell today??
"Hey you doing fine?" She wondered
"Yeah I am. Lets go." I told her, smiling.

The movie went great Arora laughed alot I knew that she would choose a comedy movie to watch over any other genre. Specially not a romantic one. Because that's who she was. She loved comedy movies, she liked the way they made her laugh. Whereas, I on the other hand, loved the way she laughed. Anything to hear her laugh. The movie had ended and we both were about to leave. When Arora said.
"Lewis. Look."
When I looked in the direction she was pointing. Unsurprisingly it was an ice cream parlour across the street.
"Guess what. Now you want ice cream. Right?" I raised my eye brow.
"Obviously. And I know that you love ice cream too." Unembarassed, she replied.
"And guess whom else I love?"
Any other girl would have blushed on such compliment but this was Arora and lets not expect blushing from her.
"Me. So you'll have to go."
She said fluttering her eye lashes. To which I replied rolling my eyes.
"And off I go..."

On that We both crossed the road and went to the ice cream parlour. We both ordered our favourite strawberry ice cream.
The waiter arrived soon with our order. And Arora started eating right away!
"Hmm...It's good." Her words were barely audible due to the amount of ice cream stuffed in her mouth.
"Yes it is. So how are your parents doing now?"
Talking about her parents had always been a tough subject. She barely spoke of them to anyone else in our group. Her biological mother died when she was fourteen. Then her father remarried. There were alot of adjustment problems with her because Arora's step mother wanted the house all to herself and was more about money than relationships.

She stopped eating for a while and then said.
"They're doing well now. Your plan actually worked, father found out that that women was cheating on him. Can you beleive she was planning to have me murdered to take over the property?"
Yes she was. I was the first person to suspect that. Two weeks back when we were at her house playing cards we found a weird card that had written on it "kill the owner at midnight." At the end it was highlighted "oct 5th".
I had immediately asked Arora about where she found the cards. She told me she took them from her parents bedroom. I had adviced her to place the cards back to where they were. She had done accordingly. Her mother had been out for quite a while. When I decided to leave, it was 11:30. I was clueless at first but then I found a file at the dash board of her mother's car which I had found parked at the side of her house. The file contained the documents of the house that belonged to Arora. I had warned Arora immediately. She had run away from her house with me. Then we had investigated the case till last week. And with some enough clues her father had found us trustable..
"You know Lee if you hadn't helped me. I would have been dead by now."

This was not the first time she was saying this but how could I not have saved her? Her life was my life. If anything had happened to her. I would have never been able to forgive myself.
"No you wouldn't. People like you don't die so easily." I winked at her.
Suddenly it occured  to me.
"Now get up we need to leave. Or else your father would kill both of us."
"Look at you always trying to save me from this cruel world." She replies mockingly biting her lower lip. Finally, stands up to leave.
After paying the bill we started walking outside. When we were about to cross the street. I saw a car coming our way. After staring at it for a second, it occured to me that I had to push her back and push her forward at the same time. Back, forward ,back ,forward, back, forward. Confusion echoed in my head.
My mind came on a war and made me push her forward towards the coming car.
I Pushed her towards a car so she could die.
