Anna’s POV ~the next day~

“I’m really sorry” I apologise over and over again. How could I be so stupid to sleep through my alarm?! If it wasn’t for Mae waking me up, I probably wouldn’t have come at all! I quickly brush my teeth and do my hair in a rather messy bun. Mae throws me a piece of vegemite toast and take a mouthful of it. Even though I’m not a big fan of vegemite, I can still eat it if we are in a rush, like today. I throw on a quick outfit of my favourite strip-y top, blue jeans and a pair of boots and run out the door following Mae. We grab out bikes and quickly ride down the street from our hotel to our previous meeting place.

“Do you think they’ll be there?” I ask slightly panting. I mean, they are nice and all and I really, really like Liam but out of all the girls he could get at any time, why would he choose me? What if he’s is just messing with me. I feel a pang of guilt, downing on him like that, but it is on my mind.

“Yeah” she replies simply, but her voice has a hint of doubt in it.

We arrive at the car park and it is deserted. The only car there is a black Audi and I’m positive it belongs to the boys. We throw our bikes to the ground, not caring about the damage we have probably caused. I sprint to the strawberry fields after I waved bye to Mae. I look around, hoping to spot his pretty brown hair and just my luck, there it is. I run over to it, slowly his body coming into view. I creep up behind him and jump on his back, wrapping my hands around his neck and my legs around his waist. “Wow!” he exclaims, stumbling to the ground as he was not prepared for that happening. I laugh and roll around the ground a bit with him, both of us laughing or heads off. We stop rolling and I land on top of him.

“Surprise!” I say, giggling. “Sorry I was late. Mae and I slept through the alarm so we woke up late.” I say with an apologetic smile after I stopped giggling. “Hi to you too.” He says, showing off his beautiful smile. “And it’s okay. As long as you’re here now.” He adds, winking, making my insides turn to goo. I stare into his chocolate brown eyes with intensity, feeling myself get lost in them. It was hard not to get lost in them as they were so pretty and attractive. I feel myself lean in a bit, as if I was trying to get closer to them. My eyes flicker from his eyes to his lips, which were pink, soft and looked so inviting. My eyes return back to his big brown ones and I lean in closer.

Liams POV:

I was just standing there, picking some strawberries while I waited for Anna to arrive. I look down at my watch to see what the time was. 9:10. She was 10 minutes late. I wonder if she forgot of if she just got lost. Then again, they were here yesterday so that was unlikely. I began to worry to think if I was being stood up but then I feel a new weight land on my back, causing me to stumble to the ground. I roll around in the dirt, laughing as I realised it was the awaited girl. We stopped rolling after a while and she ended up lying on top of me. “Surprise!” she exclaims and laughs. She has an adorable laugh. “Sorry I was late. Mae and I slept through the alarm and we woke up late.” She apologises and smiles. She has such a nice smile, but my favourite feature has to be her eyes. They are a somewhat light blue, but they change in different lighting. They are clear and beautiful, like the ocean and there is a small ring of another colour around the pupil. I think it is a light hazel but I’m not sure. I look at her figure and it is surrounded by sunlight, making her look like an angel. My gaze returns to her eyes and I notice her leaning in a bit, her eyes stuck on mine. I fell myself getting lost in the moment and she leans in again. Then all my self-control vanishes and I smash my lips onto her pink, soft ones.

Sorry it's so short. The next one is quite long though, so don't worry. I'll post the next part straight after this one.
