Mae POV ...

We'd been walking for around an hour, just to get back to our hotel. We couldn't afford a cab because of all the money we'd spent on everything so, I guess this was our only option. I could almost see the hotel from here. I'd been lucky to chose my Doc Martens to wear shopping, as they're comfy. Anna on the other hand, wasn't so lucky. She'd worn her ballet flats, and she was wearing them out so much they were almost as thin as paper.

"Is it much longer?" She would whine every five minutes. I was getting really fed up with her.

"Anna, if you don't shut up, I 'll shove that dress down your throat," I snapped back. She frowned at me.

"Sorry,"

"Just don't ask me every five minutes how much longer we have to walk. We'll get there when we get there, OK?" I said. She sighed and nodded. We turned around the corner. We were both tired and grumpy from all of this walking. I looked up from the pavement at my surroundings -

"Hey, isn't that the hotel?" Anna asked, suddenly perking up and coming back to life. I'd ninstantly noticed the familiar building - the large logo was a dead give away though.

"YES!" I shouted, exhausted from the long walk. I still had a little energy in me though. We started to walk a little faster. Then we ran. Then we sprinted, until we burst through the hotel doors in a puff. It sure was the hotel.

"Thank the heavens!" Anna gasped as she shoved herself through the thick crowd towards the elevator. I tail gated her and soon enough we were waiting for the lift. I turned around and looked at my best friend. We locked eyes when I suddenly remembered.

"Oh my God. Anna I have £20 in my pocket," I said retrieving the note from inside my jean pocket. Her eyes widened and the thin green parchment.

"You mean we could've caught a cab?!" She shrieked. I nodded.

"OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL MAE WHY DIDN'T YOU CHECK YOUR POCKET BEFORE?!"

"Because I forgot about it. If I remembered then I'd have used it for a cab we could catch," I shrunk back a little, ready to face her wrath. I'd placed some money in the jeans before we went to see the boys, and I'd completely forgot about it in the midst of everything. The lift opened - no one was in it. Oh shit. This meant a whole 5 minutes worth of screaming. We both stepped in and placed out bags on the floor. I stood in silence as Anna pressed the button which was soon followed by the doors closing.

"I'm not mad at you," she declared calmly after a few moments. I could see her taking deep breaths.

"Why?"

"Well, without you we would've never gotten back to the hotel in the first place," she said. I knew why she was so calm though.

"You're thinking about Liam, aren't you," I said smugly. She gave me a 'you know me too well' look.

"Because you'd never be this calm, unless your mind is distracted by something else, much, much more important ... Perhaps a someone, even ..." I trailed off. She sighed.

"Yes, I am thinking about Liam. Tonight, actually,"

"Same. I'm so excited!" I squealed. Anna turned around and we started to jump around.

"WE'RE GOING ON A DATE, WE'RE GOING ON A DATE," We both screamed jumping around. The elevator door instantly opened, revealing a man in a black suit with a briefcase and a slack jaw. We were still jumping around like loonies.

"Excuse me, but you'll just have to take the next lift," I explained calmly, pressing the button to close the doors, the man still standing motionless in front of us. The doors slowly concealed us as he began to re-adjust his tie. We continued to scream:
