I woke up on Monday, still tired, Saturday afternoon came into my mind. I started smiling thinking back to the movie and sharing popcorn with Jake. Nikki and Jordan, Taylor and Mike flirting. After we got back into the room they asked if he flirted with me at all. "Not really," I admitted "I think he's not sure if he likes me, just like I'm unsure. So we're both being cautious."

With this they rolled their eyes and Taylor said "Yeah right." I shot her a look and replied "Oh yeah? What about you and Mike? And how about you Nikki, with Jordan." They both started blushing at this and then mumbled something about being tired and needing sleep.

I jumped out of bed, excited for today because I was going to go practice in the dance studios and hopefully talk to Jake more during the day. I rushed into the open bathroom and turned onto the shower waiting for it to warm up. When it  did I hopped in and quickly hurried through my regular routine. I raced out and put on a grey and white striped tank, back sweater, and did my hair as fast as I could while still making it neat.

I was sitting on my bed going through twitter when finally Nikki and Taylor came in the room, ready to head down to breakfast. "Someone's excited for a Monday," remarked Taylor whilst yawning. I blushed and said "Well yeah, I am excited for this day to get over so I can practice my dance routine! The best one in the class gets to do a solo dance during the concert before Christmas break!"

Nikki rolled her eyes and said "Speaking of Christmas break, are you guys staying at the school? I've been debating and I wanna know what you guys are doing."

"You know me, I stay away from my family as much as I can. I'm staying," I told her. Taylor shrugged next to me and replied "If you both are, I'm good for staying. I'd be able to work on my designs without siblings coming in." We got into the dining hall then and before we opened the door Nikki said "Looks like we're all staying here for Christmas!" Just then three familar voices said behind us said "Who's all staying here for Christmas?"

Just like out of a movie, there standing behind us, was Jake, Mike, and Jordan. I smiled at all of them and said "We are. Obviously. What about you guys? Or are you 'too cool' to stay at the school more than needed." Mike laughed at this and said "Well when there are beautiful girls involved..." while flashing his eyes over to Taylor, causing her to blush. Jordan picked up the sectence where he left off by saying "We can always make exceptions to stay at our school when not needed."

I saw Nikki starting to blush out of the corner of my eye and rolled mine. Of course, my friends get the guys that already know they're in love when they meet a girl once. I find the guy that takes a while to realise they're in love. Jake suddenly said looking at me "So, are we going to go get breakfast or just stand out here like morons?" I blushed at this statement after realising that it was me, Taylor, and Nikki blocking the door way.

I turned around then and pushed the doors to almost run into with my least favorite dancer, Miranda. "Hello, Miranda" I sneered. She glared back at me and replied in an annoying voice "Oh hello, Melissa. Lovely to see you. Oooh who's this sweetpea?" She stepped around me, running into Taylor, to walk up to Jake. He looked nervously at her and then back at me and quietly said "Uhm. Hello."

"Hi sugar, you need someone to hang out with? I know those three," Miranda said nodding her head back to indicate us, "Aren't a fun crowd. Come! Sit with me and my friends and I'm positive you'll have a good time." Jakes, Mikes, and Jordans faces hardened while listening to her.

"No thanks," said Jordan walking over to stand by Nikki. "No way." said Mike strolling over to be next to Taylor. Miranda looked up at Jake as he stared over at me. "Definitely not. These five are better than you, and I've just met you." he said walking around her to stop short in front of me.
