ALL - THE AVENGERS

July 25th, 2017

"So what's the first mission?" Sam asks, leaning as far as the leather airplane seat will let him go.

Natasha rolls her eyes at Wilson and flips through the files scattered about on the table, pulling one apart from the pile and pointing towards a paper inside it. "This," she replies, handing copies of the sheet to Rogers and Sam.

Steve's eyes widen as he reads through the article and eyes the pictures and blueprints of the dangerous bombs and firearms. "We're going back to America to stop illegal nuclear weapon manufacturing?"

    "What else?" Natasha smirks.

"Fair point," the blond man answers.

Sam just shrugs, "Alright then. Stopping baddies from secretly making nuclear weapons it is."

"Alright," Steve parrots, nodding, an old spark inside of him lighting up again as he imagines he and his team fighting crime together. It's one that's been dead fo perhaps for a bit too long.

Romanoff smiles, feeling the same spark ignite, her cerulean eyes shining as she looks at her friends. "What do you boys say? Ready for some serious ass-kicking?"

"Hell yeah," Sam hoots, high-fiving the redhead—whose hair currently isn't that red.

"Language!" Steve scolds with a classic smirk on his face."But I'd say I'm ready, Romanoff."

"Great," Natasha states. She presses an overhead button, her fiery hair bouncing as she stands up to control the automated plane, its controls appearing in front of her face in a green hologram. "Let's go to Washington DC."

Sam glances at Steve, a signature smirk filling his cheery expression. "It's time for another adventure."

"Tony, why do I smell smoke?"

Stark shoots up from his spot on the couch, almost knocking over his water bottle as he does so. "Sorry, Potts. I almost forgot about the popcorn! Be right back."

The blonde woman laughs, folding over the blanket to let her fiance stand. She flicks through the tv, her fingers dancing over the remote as she surfs through the channels, deciding the perfect thing to watch with Stark.

As Tony comes back with bags of the cheesy, buttery, golden, and slightly-burnt snack, he smiles, knowing that this is one of the most perfect days he's ever had. Stark sits back down next to Virginia Potts and hands her a bag, his smile growing bigger as he watches her sapphire eyes light up.

After a bit of arguing, the couple finally decide on a movie, chomping away at the popcorn. Who cares if it's slightly burnt? What isn't nowadays? Even though the volume is up and the screen is lighting up the dim room, it becomes apparent that Tony and Pepper are spending less time looking their tv screen than they are at each other.

    But who's complaining?

Bucky gazes around him, his kaleidoscopic gaze taking his surroundings in.

Next to the White Wolf is Shuri Udaku, her eyes still slightly teary from her earlier goodbye with Peter Parker.

"This place..." He says, closing his eyes. Bucky breathes the fresh air in and savors the warm Wakandan sun shining on his tousled hair and skin. He lets his shoulders rise and fall as the sweet fragrance of freshly cut grass and an assortment of flowers rushes into his lungs. "This place is wonderful."
