So little back story! So in New York State it is required at least one art/music credits to graduate. The offers for these are art which is a one year thing OR chorus either concert choir for freshmen girls and girls who decide to stay in or corral for the boys and upper classmen girl who don't stay in concert (You are allowed to drop chorus after your one credit has been earned, you only get that if you pass the class). I took concert my first year of high school cause I really like chorus and I've been doing it since 3rd grade so doing it until I finish high school wouldn't hurt. Last years was fun we had girl in there who where really passionate about singing but this year a lot of girls enter concert choir for the credit and that makes me mad cause they don't sing or do the warm ups or hand sighs or really anything other then show up late and complaining about have to stand for a while period. Its a super easy class to pass, you get a grade for participating and showing up to all concerts unless you have a real excuse like a family emergency or you're sick. so the least you could do is help the people who aren't just there to have a credit have a good show and be proud of work we are doing. It's pisses me off who people think they goof around and not do anything and think they are gonna get a good grade for not doing anything. Mr. D may like to have fun while teaching but he's a person who likes to have good chorus to show off we don't half ass anything all our songs have to me memorized and perfect (I know all chorus teachers want that but just trying to make a point). I find it so annoying how most of the girl don't want to be there and complain every time we have to stand up straight, and have good vocals and mouth shapes and all that jazz (haha and all that Jazz frickin love Chicago)

Another thing! Little story of something that actually fucking happened today in chorus and something NO ONE SHOULD EVER DO! Two girl where trying out for solos in a song call Bolulalow (a song from ceremony of carols). These two girl ended up getting the solos in the song and as we where clapping for them and getting ready to run the song when one girl had the fucking nerve to say "Maria and Jayda would be so much better for those solos." And OMFG YOU DONT FICKING DO THAT! Like no! You just don't! It made me so mad I was about to flip my shit but I kept my cool and just focused on the maximum capacity sign (something I do when I'm mad, Idk why but the maximum capacity sign calms me down. Like whenever I'm mad I look for that sign and I read it over and over again until I'm calm I'm weird I know) but sorry the rant this probably no since and everyone's gonna be like "that's so stupid, did she really have to write all that down." This is my happy place and my friends don't really care about stuff like this so yeah. See you in the next part.
