I held my daughter tightly as the carriage rode down the path towards the castle. "Mommy I'm scared." Lily 3 year old daughter said "I know baby, it will be alright I promise." We where going to King. I was now his maid according to the man who broke into my house and took me and Lily away. We where still in our Pajamas. "Go back to bed Lily, it will be over soon." I was a single mother who's husband died fighting in the war and with no one to take care of her I needed a new husband and so far no luck no one wanted a poor women for a wife. I rubbed her long brown hair until she feel asleep, soon the carriage stopped and a men came ordering us out. I took Lily in my arms as I stood up. The castle was huge I put Lily who was now awake on the ground so we could walk. "How old is the child." The man asked coldly. "She just turned 4 sir." I said as she held onto my leg. He nodded and said "follow me." We did so and he brought us to a big room with a thrown and the king on it. "Kneel before the king!" The man yelled. I let go of Lily and kneeled on the ground. "Who is this?" "Poor women my king, couldn't pay rant on the house so we brought her here." He man said. "Leave us." The king said hopping off the thrown and walking towards me and Lily. "You May stand." He said standing in front of me. "What is your name?" "Y/N L/N. My king." "Who is she?" "My daughter Lily." He smiled at her then looked at me. "You will be my new maid. And I'll see to it that you and your little Lily are taken care of. William will take you to your room."
