Chapter One

***Aleks' P.O.V***

"Done," I said to myself as I finished the final editing touches on my new video. I let out a loud breath as I stood from my chair, walking out of my office. "Alright, I'm going to head home, bye guys!" I said while walking out, Seamus and Dan waving to me as I walked out the door. As I shut the door my phone went off, it was my girlfriend, I answered it quickly. "Hey, Mia," "WHERE ARE YOU?" I had to move the phone like a foot away from my ear to prevent hearing loss. I sigh quietly and keep walking, "I'm just leaving the office, why?" "Fine, please come over." she pleaded. "I'm really exhausted, I've been editing all day, I will come over tomorrow," I said as I unlocked my car and hopped in. "Are you trying to avoid me?" she snapped, "No, why would you thin-" she cut me off, "You are aren't you!? You're probably seeing another girl. How could you do this to me Aleks!?" she cried. "I'M NOT SEEING ANYONE ELSE WHY DO YOU ALWAYS THINK THAT? I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" I yelled, I'm so done with her accusing me of seeing someone else, it doesn't even make any sense, I love her so much, I don't want to hurt her. She sighed, "I don't believe you..... Your late nights at "the office"? The same excuses about being "too tired"? Well maybe you'd have more energy if you didn't fuck every girl that you see... I'm done, we're over." she hung up. I sat there asking myself, 'What the actual fuck just happened?'

I shook my head trying to get the thoughts out of my head. I put my key in the ignition and turned it. I drove home thinking about what I am going to do without her, I got home and ran to my room right away, ignoring the yelling James behind me. I plopped onto my bed, I tried calling her and texting her a ton of times. but she wouldn't answer. I don't get why the fuck she thinks I would cheat on her... I sat and began to cry, I loved her... Why did she even think that? That's disgusting, I would never... My thoughts were interrupted by James knocking on the door, "Aleks?" James said through the door. I quickly wiped away my tears with the sleeve of my sweater and sniffled, I can't let him see me like this... "Yes?" I tried my best to cover up that I had been crying, but my voice was still shaky.

***James' P.O.V***

It sounded like he was crying, so I opened the door to see a red, puffy eyed Aleks. I hate seeing him like this, it broke my heart. I took a seat next to him and he wrapped his arms around me and started crying, I hugged him back, letting his tears soak my t-shirt. He pulled out of the embrace, "What's wrong?" I asked worried, "It-it's Mia... She thinks I am... Was, cheating on her, so she broke up with me." he choked. I frowned and hugged him really tight, "I'm so sorry Aleks, I know how much you loved her. Maybe you can get her back... Just remember, I am always here for you Aleks... But for now, let's do something to get your mind off of it, let's go out for dinner! Food makes you happy." I said, "True..." he chuckled. I stood up and opened and walked out the door, Aleks followed.

We got into the car and off we drove. I looked over at him as I drove, he kept looking at his phone every few minutes probably awaiting some sort of message from Mia. I was never really a big fan of her to be honest, she kind of strikes me as a spoiled, rotten bitch. I broke the silence, "So, any word back?" I asked, "No... Is it weird I don't miss her as much as I want to?" he questioned, "I guess not, I mean... I wasn't too fond of her to be honest." I pointed out, he chuckled as he shook his head, his chuckle is so cute. "She's sort of a bitch, not gonna lie," he smiled. Oh my god and his smile, lights up my world. I don't care if he's my best friend, I am truly, madly, deeply in love with him.
