Chapter Two

Hello, so this is chapter two. I put a song by Isles & Glaciers in the side thingy so... Enjoy ^_^*

***Aleks' P.O.V***

We finally got to the restaurant, we got our food and sat down at a table. This was a pretty fancy McDonalds, if you ask me. We sat for awhile and talked about random things, I managed to actually forget about- my phone rang. I scrambled to answer it, not bothering to see who it was, I was hoping it was Mia. "Hello!?" "Hey, Aleks!" I frowned at the voice, simply knowing it wasn't Mia, it was Dan. "Oh... Hey, Dan" I said less enthusiastically, "Wow, nice to talk to you too," he laughed. "Sorry... I was hoping-" "I was Mia?" Dan finished, "Y-yeah, how did you know about that?" I asked puzzled. "Well Mia is our friend on Facebook and she posted a status about it," he said, "What?" I asked, "Yeah, before you go and look, do you and James wanna come to the office for a fun night?" Dan proposed, "Uh, I guess... We will be there at 9." I replied. "Okay, see ya later" he said, "Bye!"

        I ended the call and went straight to Facebook. Ha the only place she didn't block me on, I looked at her newest status, it read: 

Just went out with a cute guy hehe /.\

I read it and I could feel the tears forming, I looked at her next status, it said:

Finally dumped that cheater! I am happy I did, haha. #Singleandreadytomingle lol. /.\

"I uh, I'm gonna go to the restroom." I said, trying my hardest to not show I was crying, I think he didn't notice, he was too invested in his phone than anything, "Okay," he mumbled looking down at his phone. I walked to the washroom and locked myself into a stall and began to cry. I felt worthless and like I did something, even though I didn't. I sat there crying and questioning my existence, why am I even here? I have nothing... Mia... She's gone, she was my everything. My crying was interrupted by the sound of the restroom door opening, I covered my mouth with my hand trying to mask the sobs escaping my mouth. They walked over to the sink and I heard him talking on the phone, "Hey baby, how are you? Are we still doing it tonight? Good, can't wait to get a hold of you," he growled, "Oh, hold on, my mom is calling." he took the incoming call, "Hey babe, I miss you so much. I know, I wish I could be there too... touching you, kissing you, making you feel good" I rolled my eyes and scoffed at the man's disgusting nature. "Honey, I have to go, I will call you back in a few minutes, love you." he returned to the other person, "Babe, my mom wants me to go over and help her around the house, I'll see you later, I love you," he said while walking out of the bathroom. I emerge from the stall and wipe away my tears. I look at myself in the mirror, trying to make myself look less messy and like I didn't just cry  in a bathroom for 20 minutes. I finished, pleased with the job I had done.

        I walked out of the bathroom returning to James, "Hey, you alright?" he asked concerned, I took a sip of my drink and smiled, "Yeah, why?" "Because you've been gone for 20 minutes, I literally thought you shit yourself to death." he chuckled, I laughed at his comment, "Yeah, no I'm fine." "Alright wanna go now?" James asked, "Yeah, also Dan invited us for a fun night at the office." I informed him, "Ewww what the fuck is that? Fun night? That shit sounds weird." he said slightly raising his voice, "I have no idea," I laughed. We got in the car and drove back to our apartment. We had a few hours to kill before we go to the office; we just spent it watching TV. It was 8:30pm and we decided to leave for "fun night."

        We arrived to the office at exactly as I said we would. We walked in and saw all of the guys talking and throwing things as each other. Seamus may be the oldest, but he can be really immature sometimes. We were only there for a few hours, I was walking down the hall when I felt someone pull me into one of the guys' office. I squealed and grunted for help but they covered my mouth with their hand and shh'd me. They shut the door, it was so dark in the room and I couldn't make out who they were. My heart was racing, my palms were sweaty, I was so scared.
