We ended up at a bar, which really didn't surprise me. Dallas had a few friends already there, and they kept staring over at me. Its the first time I've ever been at bar, so everything was new. I felt so out of place just sitting at the bar not drinking anything, while Dallas was having fun with his buddies.
"Why aren't you drinking anything?" Dallas stumbled over laughing.
"I don't drink."
"Why didn't you tell me?" He said slurring his words trying to sound serious.
"One, you didn't tell me where we were going,"I said annoyed "Two, I didn't want to go out with you in the first place." He just stared at me lost and a little discouraged.
"Why don't you like me?" You could just tell he was drunk by the way he held himself leaning against the bar.
"Dallas, you're drunk. I think I'm gonna go home now." I grabbed my jacket off the bar top and started to get up.
"Stop calling me Dallas," He stood up straight and grabbed my waist and sat me back on the bar stool "You can call me Dally." He leaned his lips toward my ear and whispered it in my ear.
"OK, Dally," I put my hand on his chest feeling his chiseled muscles, but quickly snapped out of it and pushed him a little bit "I'm going home." I said staring up into his big puppy brown eyes. They weren't just plain brown eyes; they had warmth to them, they had something I couldn't quite place my finger on.
"Don't leave me now baby." He smirked looking down at me.
"Why? So you can continue to get drunker by the minute, and hang out with your friends? I think you'll be fine with out me." I grabbed my coat and walked quickly through the front doors.
I started walking down the empty, silent, and dark sidewalk. I just wanted to get out of that area as soon as possible.
"SARA!" I heard Dally's voice yell at me from a distance. I turned my head to see him running up the sidewalk trying to catch up with me. I quickly turned my head and kept walking at a faster pace.
"Hey," I felt him grab my wrist and turn me around to face him "Why don't you like me?" The corner of his lips started to grin.
"Dallas, I'm not interested, okay? I don't feel like being just one of those 'girls' you screw and leave. I'm not gonna be your one night stand!" He looked at me with confusion for a second, than laughed.
"Listen kid, I could get any broad off the street. Do you not remember me saving your life last night?"
"Jesus Dallas! Are you gonna hold that against me forever? I said thank you, I went out with you tonight, what more do you want from me?!" He looked down at me for a second staring into my eyes.
He cuffed my chin and grabbed my waist with his other hand. He looked at me with those big puppy eyes and it seemed as if I forgot everything in the world. He quickly lifted up my chin and leaned down kissing me softly. He than grabbed my waist with both hands and pulled me in closely and tightly, and more passionately. I reached my hands around his neck and moved my one hand through his hair, kissing back now.
Half of me wanted to pull away, and the other half just wanted to keep going to see what'd happen next. No Sara, you can't let it get to far! You don't want to be just another girl he charmed and banged on the first date. This wasn't even really a date at all! That's even lower!
"Dally," I said pulling back catching my breath looking deeply into his eyes as our lips were just barely touching. "I can't let it go farther than this tonight." I nearly died when he just stared from my lips, than locking our eyes.
"C'mon I'll take ya home." He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and we started walking.
"So do I get to walk you upstairs?' He smiled as we got to the front door of the building. I took his arm off from around my shoulders and stood in front of the doors.
"Not tonight Dally." I said as I began to open the door. He than grabbed my waist with one hand and kissed me one more time.
"I'll see ya later kid." He smiled deviously and walked away.
I swear I flew up the stairs all the way to my front door. I almost forgot to pop my head in to see if my Grandma was still awake when I unlocked the door. She wasn't up, thank god. It was one AM for crying out load! I walked into the bathroom and just jumped into the shower without a second thought of grabbing my Pj's first.
I grabbed a towel getting out and wrapped it around my body as I ran across the hall to my room. I grabbed my pj's from last night and started changing when I looked out the window at the streetlight to see a shadow on the sidewalk. I finished dressing and walked closer to the window and opened it up to see the one and only Dallas Winston looking up at me.
"Nice Pj's." He smirked shouting up, taking a swig of his cigarette.
"Shhhh! Dallas! There are other people in this building!" I shouted at him in a slight whisper. He threw back his head and laughed.
"So should I come up through the fire escape than?" He grinned staring me up and down.
"Goodnight Dallas." I said laughing as i started to close my window.
"Goodnight babe!" He yelled up at me with a smirk as i closed the window.
I laughed crawling into my bed. I could bet money with the devil himself that my cheeks were redder than apples. I fell asleep to the one and only Dallas Winston on my mind.
