I Have An Idea!

It wasn't long till Darry came in and called us all to dinner. Soda was quiet the whole entire time, avoiding everyone. Darry insisted on Dally and I spending the next few days with them instead of going to a crappy Motel. We set up a few blankets and pillows in the living room after dinner.

"You staying with us tonight Johnnycakes?" I threw some pillows on the couch.

"I don't know.."

"Oh c'mon Johnny! It'd be fun! Just like old times!" I begged throwing a pillow at him.

"I guess." He laughed a little bit.

"Hey Pony!? I hollered up the stairs. "Can you bring down some night cloths for Johnny?"

"Yeah, hold on!" A few seconds later Pony came down stairs with wet hair from him shower.

"Here ya go." He handed Johnny a pair of his older night pants and a white shirt.

"Johnny, you should probably go get a shower after today." I said pushing him towards the bathroom.

"C'mon Sarie!" He begged.

"GO!" I laughed as he walked to the bathroom.

"Where is everyone?" Pony asked as he plopped down on the couch.

"The guys decided they'd take Dally out and show him around."

"Why didn't you go with?"

"Eh, I'm not into that stuff. And since everyone has work off tomorrow, it seemed like a good idea for a guys night out."

"Darry too?" He looked at me in shock.

"Yep." I smiled at him/

"Sara?"

"Yeah Pony?"

"Is Dallas moving with you when you move back here?"

"Maybe." I shrugged as I sat next to him leaning my head back. We sat there quiet for a moment, when i heard him sniffling a little bit.

"You okay Pony?" I sat up seeing him start to cry.

"I just- I miss them so much!" He started to cry heavily as I wrapped him in a bear hug.

"It'll be okay Pony. I promise, it'll all be okay." I hugged him so close rocking him back and forth. We sat there for a few minutes until Johnny got out of the shower.

"Everything okay?" Johnny asked in concern.

"Yeah, its all good." I said pulling a little bit away from pony to mile at him.

"I have an idea" I said with a big grin. "Lets build an indoor tent!" I said jumping up and grabbing some blankets.

  We set the tent around the couch using chairs from the kitchen. Pony and Johnny were laughing and enjoying themselves. We made popcorn and watched a few movies until they both fell asleep.
