"Good Morning." I smiled as I walked down stairs to meet the gang in the living room eating chocolate cake.

"Hey Chloe," Soda smirked as I crossed my arms. "Oh, you too Sara."

"I see you guys found the cake." I laughed as I walked out into the kitchen.

"Good morning" I felt arms wrap around me and kiss my neck.

"Good Morning Mr.Winston." I laughed as I turned my head and kissed his cheek, and served myself some of the cake.

"How are my girls doing?" He smiled as he walked over and grabbed a cup of coffee, as he was wearing only a pair of flannel pajama bottoms.

"We're good," I giggled looking down at the bulging bump. "Hungry as usual." We went out into the living room and joined the gang in watching Mickey Mouse.

"I don't see why you guys need to have a kid, you already have Two-Bit!" Steve laughed and stuffed a piece of cake in his mouth.

"Now you watch it bud!" Two-Bit looked over at him with a serious face and everyone busted out laughing.

"I'll get it!" Dallas jumped up as the phone rang. He kept it quiet and kept looking over at the gang and I to see if we were paying attention. He hung up the phone after a few minutes and ran upstairs.

"I'll be back." He came back down fully dressed, grabbing his car keys. I followed close behind him as he walked out into the front yard.

"Where ya going Dal?" I asked as he started to get into the truck.

"I have business to take care of with Buck."

"Dal, I've been minding my own business and not asking any questions," I said grabbing the car door before he could close it. "but I am done with you getting into trouble and getting in and out of the cooler."

"Sara, I'm fine."

"But I'm not! Dal, we're having a baby, and she needs her dad with her and not in jail half the time!"

"Just stay out of it Sara!" He jerked the door from my grasp and slammed it, and flew out of the driveway, down the street.

"I need someones car keys!" I came in slamming the door behind me.

"You can take mine." Two-Bit said pointing to his on the kitchen table.

"I'll be right back." I said grabbing them and storming out. I looked for the truck for about 10 minutes until I saw it parked in an alley way.

I lifted up my hoodie as it started to pour rain. I saw Dally and a man in the middle of the alley way, Dally turned the opposite way and the man facing me.

"Who the hell is she?" The man gestured his hand towards me in an angry voice.

"I told you to stay out of it!" Dallas turned around in shock.

"I have every right not to!" I looked past Dally to see the other man hovering over a dead body. "Dal-" My voice shook as they both noticed I spotted it.

"Oh Great!" The other man laughed and than took out a gun and pointed it at me.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" Dallas turned around and knocked the gun out of his hand and started beating him senseless, as I ran the other way.

I stood behind the building until I looked back in the alley and saw Dally beating the lifeless . I started running back to him as he turned around and walked towards me.

"Dallas-" He cut me off and kissed me, and laid is forehead on mine.

Then there it was, a bang. Dally locked eyes with me and looked fearful and terrified. I didn't know what was happening until I looked down and saw blood, and Dally collapsing.

~Dallas's POV~

I heard that horrific bang and looked down to see blood every where. Sara looked down than back up at me terrified as her body started to collapse holding on to me dragging me down with her.

"SARA!" I turned around and saw Mac holding the gun frozen in place. I lashed out and shot him with mine.

"Dally" I heard her voice drift off.

"C'mon, you're gonna be okay. Stay awake." I cradled her tiny body and ran to the truck, and drove to the hospital.

~Later that Night~

"She's gonna be okay Dal." Darry put an arm on my shoulder as all seven of us sat in the waiting room.

"Curtis?" The Doctor came out looking at Darry since he was the legal adult.

"Right here" He got up and walked to the doctor as they spoke in low voices. The doctor handed Darry with an Envelope that had Soda's name written on it. I only looked for a second until they both began to walk over to me.

"She's waiting for you." The doctor gestured his hand down the hallway to her door.

I walked though the door to see her weak body hooked up to machines. I felt frozen, as I drug myself over to her bedside slowly.

"Dally?" Her weak voice managed to whisper as I sat next to her and held her hand.

"I'm so sorry." I leaned down as I felt tear gather in my eyes.

"Dally-" She place her other hand on her belly.

The baby was gone.

"Where is she?" I asked hoping with every ounce of my heart that she was okay. She just began to sob uncontrollably.

"This is all my fault."

"No its not, I should've stayed out," She stopped and gasped for air. "I should've stayed out of it."

"Sara-"

"Take care of Johnny, Dallas. Please." She cut me off not wanting to hear my apologies.

"I promise." I took her hand and held it tight.

"I love you Dallas Winston." Her eyes began to look heavy.

"I love you too." She took a breathe of air and let it out as she closed her eyes.

"NO! DON'T LEAVE ME!" I held a lifeless arm and shook it.

"SARA! WAKE UP!" I felt the tears well up in and begin to fall.

"SOMEONE! HELP!" Everyone began to run in as doctors began to unhook her lifeless body from the machines.

"NO! SHE'S OKAY! SHE CAN"T BE DEAD!"

"SOMEONE GET THEM THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Nurses came over and backed us all out of the room.

"NO!" I screamed trying to push them out of my way.

"Dal! She's gone!" I felt Darry and Steve pulling me back.

~A WEEK LATER~

Dallas stood in the doorway of the empty baby's room. Never touched, never slept in, never used. It would never know the cries of the baby girl he never met. It would never hear the voice of the woman he loved.

"It's time to go." Darry put a hand on his shoulder.

"I'll be right out." Dallas said coldly as he stood frozen in his tracks.

It hurts to much to stay in the house. He couldn't look at himself here, it just brought back the memories that he can never have back. Dallas got a place at Bucks, and Johnny was gonna move back in with his parents. Though, Dally promised he would watch after Johnny, and he planned on keeping that promise. Dally only kept one picture of Sara in his wallet; the one of her looking back at him as she got into the truck. It was his favorite for some odd reason that he never knew. He didn't want to remember.

Dallas wanted to be dead, and the only thing keeping him here was Johnny. Sara was gone. Dallas blamed himself for everything, not going a day without thinking about her. But, a promise is a promise. Johnny was all he had left of her.
