Two Weeks Later

"Spectacular is the only word to describe this 4,463 square foot penthouse shell. With iconic Seattle water and mountain views from almost every room, this particular residence is one of the city's most prestigious condominium homes." The realtor explained, as we walked through this rather large penthouse.

Out of every other home I've looked at, this one has caught my eye the most, but it was a bit on the pricey side. Could I afford it? Of course, but that didn't mean I wanted to spend a bunch of money on a huge place. I would've been okay with a simple two bedroom apartment, allowing Wes to be my roommate, and going from there; but my parents would have a heart attack if they heard me say that. They wanted nothing but the best for me, which is why they were the ones to refer me to this place. "So...what do you think?"

"It's really nice and the view is amazing." I said, honestly. The view was my favorite part, showing me that Seattle was way more beautiful then I thought it was. Sure, she stretched it a bit, talking about seeing mountains and all that, but I guess that was how she sold her places; by over exaggerating just a little bit. "How much is the monthly rent?"

"For a three bedroom, it would be fifteen thousand a month, paid in full." The fact that I didn't flinch at that price made me realize that I could easily afford this place, even though I didn't want to live somewhere so lavish. What was I trying to prove anyway? That I have money? Hell, everyone with the last name Langston had money, so that wasn't anything new. "I should also tell you that if you were to move here, you'd be neighbors with Seattle's most eligible billionaire bachelor. Christian Grey, the CEO of Grey Enterprises Holding, lives on the top floor." Her smile was wide, as she started twirling her hair a little bit.

"Is that right?" I questioned, not really caring. Since that situation in his office, I haven't seen or heard from Christian. I mean, why would I? After he withdrew his offer, I figured that I wouldn't see him again, but apart of me wanted to see him again. Ugh...what was it about him that had me so drawn in? "Can I have a minute? I need to make a quick phone call."

"Sure thing." She said, as she turned and walked away. In many different ways, this place was perfect. Not only would I have my own space, but Wes would have his own space as well; plus I would have extra space just in case my siblings or friends wanted to come and visit. On the downside though, it was really expensive and I'd be lonely as hell in this big ass house. Sure, Wes would be here, but he'd only come around if I really needed him and I rarely did need him.

"You don't have to move here if you don't want to." Wes spoke, approaching me.

"Yeah I know, but it wouldn't be fair to you. You deserve your own space too, so not only do I have to think about myself...I have to think about you too." I told him.

"I'll be fine, Des. You know I can make anywhere my home, no matter how big or how small it is. Besides...I know you have the hots for Seattle's most eligible billionaire bachelor, so why not move here and up the chances of running into him again." I gasped dramatically, placing my hand over my chest, as he started to laugh.
