Shortly after that uncomfortable conversation with Anastasia earlier, I received a call from Dr. Grace, who invited me to her house for dinner. Though I had plans with Christian, he had to cancel due to the fact that he was having dinner with his family, so I accepted Grace's invitation. She was really excited for me to meet her daughter, Mia, and I hope this wasn't some type of hook-up thing because girls really weren't my type.
Christian: I miss you. I much rather be spending my night with you.
Me: Same here, but enjoy the time with your family. We can always hook up a little later...😏😘
Christian: What a mighty fine offer, Miss Langston. I may take you up on that.
Me: I'm surely looking forward to it.🤗
The smile on my face was priceless. One that hasn't been there since Deron and I first started dating, way back before he cheated on me. I missed the cutesy phase in a relationship, where there were never ending butterflies in your stomach, all while daydreaming about the person that has completely swept you off of you feet. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the feeling, because the conversation I had with Ana continued to play in the back of my mind.
Everything she said about him, was the exact same things he said to me on our first date, but at the same time...he claimed that he didn't want the same things anymore. I believed him, only because we were actually dating exclusively, but would he eventually get bored with me? I surely hope not. I'm not the type of woman that will bend over backwards just to keep a man, but I am a firm believer of true love and I would fight for it if I had it. That's exactly what Ana was doing. Fighting for love, except in her case...the love was only one sided.

Arriving at the address Dr. Grace sent me, I was in awe of her beautiful home, as Wes opened the car door for me. I stepped out and headed towards the door, ringing the doorbell, as I straightened out my dress.
"Quick Wes...how do I look?" I asked, turning to face him.
"Beautiful as always, Destiny." He answered, putting me at ease. I had to make sure that I wasn't too overdressed or underdressed, and judging by the size of Grace's home...I would fit in perfectly.
"Good evening." A blonde haired woman smiled, answering the door. I smiled and greeted her, entering the house, as Grace rushed towards me.
"Destiny! It's lovely to see you again dear!" She said, hugging me.
"It's great to see you too, Dr. Grace. You have a beautiful home." I said.
"Please...call me Grace, and thank you so much." I handed her a bag, that contained two bottles of expensive wine. I didn't want to show up to this woman's house empty handed. "My, my...you have exquisite taste in wine. Come...I'd like for you to meet my family." I followed her into what seemed to be the living room, as we approached a tall, middle aged man.
