"Sorry babe, did I wake you?" I asked, looking up at a groggy looking Christian, as he ran his fingers through his hair. I just wanted to call and tell him goodnight, before spending this last night with my friends before they were to go home tomorrow morning.
"Of course not baby." He yawned, running his fingers through his hair again. My poor baby looked so tired, but was trying to act as if he was wide awake. That's when it hit me. There's a three hour time difference between Seattle and New York. It's nine o'clock at night here in Seattle, which meant it was midnight in New York. "What are you up to?"
"Me and the girls are about to watch a movie, since it's their last day here in Seattle. I wish they could stay longer, but unfortunately... we're all adults now and we have lives and careers." I laid down on my side, propping my head up on my arm, as I stared at Christian's beautiful face.
"God, you're beautiful." I smiled, rolling over onto my back, as I held the phone above me.
"And so are you." I blushed, watching as his lips twitched up into a smile. His eyes then traveled downward a little, as he focused on the bottom of the screen.
"What are you wearing right now?" He asked me. Seeing as how I was only wearing a lavender lace bra and panty set, I now understood what he was looking at. Moving the camera downward, I gave him the full view of my outfit or lack thereof, quickly bringing the camera back up to my face. "Jesus Christ, Destiny."
"Our movie night requires a certain type of dress code. Sometimes we wear onesie pajamas, other times we wear bra and panties." I told him.
"Do you have any idea how bad I want to fly back to Seattle right now? Especially when you're looking like that?"
"Oh really?" I decided to take it one step further, biting down on my bottom lip, knowing what that does to him.
"Destiny..." He breathed out.
"Hm?" I smirked.
"You know exactly what you're doing right now."
"I'm not sure what you mean, babe." He chuckled a little, making me giggle, as we stared at one another.
"I miss you." He said in a low voice.
"I miss you too." I told him. I ran my hand down the screen, longing to be in his embrace right about now, before dropping my hand over my stomach.
"Destiny! We got the movie on!" I heard Valentina say, as she knocked on my door.
"I'll be right there."
"Enjoy tonight with your friends and I'll talk to you in the morning." He said, looking as if he didn't want to hang up. Hell, if I'm being honest...I didn't want to hang up either.
"Okay... goodnight Christian."
"Goodnight baby."
