Tom lay on his bed, staring at the wall.
Everything felt emptier and colder now Luce was gone.
He'd flown out to England to have a break from all that had happened. Him and Harrison stayed in London away from the paparazzi and the world.

For the first few weeks Tom was destroyed. Nothing fixed the pain and anger he felt inside him. He hated himself. He hated that he was reason that Luce had left. And he hated that he couldn't do anything about it.

No one could shake Tom out of the sadness that had taken over him and his life. Harrison tried and failed, his parents came over and even some cast mates paid a visit. However, no one could help him.

This was how it was for weeks until one day, Tom woke up and did something about it.
He sat on his bed and read through a scrapbook that Lucie had given him for his birthday. It was full of pictures that were from events, cute ones from Snapchat, cinema tickets, memories that she'd written down and even iconic dates in their relationship.

Much like Luce going to the cafe that started their relationship to get closure, Tom sat there trying to fix this sadness. He read every word and every one made him cry. Harrison heard sniffling from the room next to his and tiptoed in.

He went over to his best friend and brought him into a tight hug.
"It will be alright mate.... I promise it will"
Tom cried and cried that night and as he read through it, he realised this would be the last time.
Eventually, he shut the book and went over to the chest in his living room. On the outside, it looked like a coffee table. However, inside was where Tom stored his most prized possessions.

Inside was his BAFTA, awards, special invitations to Premiers and Events. Framed pictures of his family, Tess, Harrison and some of Lucie.

And now, the scrapbook. He locked the chest and placed the key on a high shelf.
The man stared at the shelf for a few seconds until Harrison interrupted him.

"Tom?"
"Oh uh yeah?"
"It's ok. You loved her and you always will. But you have to let her go now"
"Yeah. I know"
