Medicine

I walked up the stairs feeling like my body is being dragged down, my eye lids closing and myself going weaker. I've been in the rain for a while today because I made the wrong decision by parking my car quite far thinking that I can walk around all day holding tons of bags back and fourth fine and that's when the rain started pouring and pouring. So, here I am being sicker than ever from the rain, walking around all day and the hot sun. I laid flat in bed feeling like crap but I didn't have enough strength to go get warm tea or anything and I don't even think I've got any medicines in the cabinet. Plus my parent is out of town for a few days. I wish I were a werewolf instead of a banshee so I could actually heal instead of predicting people's death.

I grabbed my phone rushing to Alison's phone number. Tears drip down my face as I dial her last phone digit realising she's no longer with me anymore. "I miss you Alison. I really do" I sobbed. As I spoke to myself my phone started ringing and that scared me good. I wiped off my tears to answer the call from Stiles. "Hey" I said sounding odd from crying and the sickness that's killing me.
"Lydia? Are you ok? Why do you sound like that?" Asked Stiles quickly as he panicked.
"No, I mean yes. I'm fine. I'm a bit sick that's all. You... Ok?" I replied. "Yes, I'm just checking if you were ok because your parent's out of town so... Yeah. Wait, you're sick? Do you need anything? Are you ok?" Said Stiles in shock as if I was dying. "Yeah, I'm kind of sick and I don't think I need anything..." I stopped. "Actually please bring me medicine. I'm feeling really sick" I said finishing my sentence. "Ok, I'll be there as fast as I can" replied Stiles as he quickly cancelled the call probably rushing to his jeep.

*knock knock*
"Stiles, that's you right?" I said as I grabbed onto the lamp thinking that it might possibly be an axe murderer lusting for blood. There were no reply.
The door suddenly begin to creak wide open. My hand was ready to throw the lamp as soon as that blood thirsty murderer comes in and attack me. "Hey" the figure said in the dark. "Oh my god! Woah! Put that down! How much energy do you have? Aren't you sick?" The figure added as it stepped out of the dark and it turns out to be Stiles. I was relieved to find out that it always been Stiles. I slowly put down the lamp feeling like the world was orbiting 10 times faster. "Lydia! Are you ok?" Shouted Stiles as he quickly ran in to cling on to me as I was about to drop onto the floor. "Yeah. Yeah I'm fine. I got a little dizzy" I said feeling really sick. "Just lay down here I'll go get something for you to eat before having the medicine" said Stiles tucking me in. "I'm fine I just.." I insist. "You're not fine stop lying. Stay here" said Stiles sounding serious.

Stiles walked out of my room to prepare something, it sounded like he's cooking because I heard lots of stirring and chopping. 'Does he even cook?' I thought to myself as I laughed.
A few moments went by and Stiles' back in my room, holding a tray. "What's that?" I asked as Stiles lowered down beside my bed. "Your dinner" he replied as he smile looking really proud. "I'm not hu..." I said. "But you have to eat. You won't feel better laying down all day" Stiles cut me off. I nodded like a child. "Stop" said Stiles as he grabbed onto my shoulder while I was getting up to eat. "How am I gonna eat then?" I asked looking up at him. "You don't have to do anything. I'll feed you like a widdle girl" Teased Stiles. "Stop" I smiled. I thought he was kidding about the feeding but he wasn't. He helped me up a little bit but not exactly sitting up it's more like leaning back onto the bed with a pillow behind me supporting my back. Stiles got a spoon and start stirring the soup, he got a spoonful but before feeding me he cooled it down a little. "Here comes the train" he laughed. I smiled before having the soup entering my mouth. "So how's the soup?" Stiles asked excitedly. "It's..." I hesitated on purpose. "Come on. It's the first time I ever properly cook. So...?" He asked. "It's really nice" I smiled. "Seriously?" He asked happily. "No" I replied, annoying him. "I'm kidding. It's really good" I added. Stiles smiled. "C'mon! Carry on" I said asking him to feed me. He laughed as he got another spoonful of soup.

"Thank you" I said as I swallowed the last remaining of the soup. "My pleasure" said Stiles as he handed me a glass of water. I looked at him before drinking it. "Yes, it's the stupid mineral water thing you always drink" added Stiles. I smiled then started drinking the water. "Oh wait, here's your meds" said Stiles handing me a small container with medicines in it. "Umm... This one is for your soar throat and that's for fever and the last one is for head ache" said Stiles looking at the container. "Thank you" I said, grabbing the medicines. He smiled as he tidy everything up. "I'll be back. I just have to do the dishes and I'll bring you some tea" said Stiles. Before he twist the door knob open he looked back and asked "What kind of tea do you want?"
"Hmm... I'm feeling peppermint tea, thanks"I replied. "Sugar?" He asked. "Nooo' ok. I don't even know why I asked you" he laughed. "You sure know me well" I replied smiling.

"The tea is really hot so if I were you I wouldn't drink it now" said Stiles as he closes the door. I nodded. "Stiles it's really late. Aren't you tired?" I asked as Stiles sat down on the edge of my bed. "Yeah a little but I'll be fine. You're really sick so I don't want to leave you alone" Stiles replied handing me the tea. "Thanks but are you sure?" I asked. "Yup. I'm sure. I'll just sleep on the couch downstairs so if you need anything just call me" said Stiles as he got up. "Umm... Actually, can you stay?" I asked. "Yeah sure, I'll just sleep on the floor" nodded Stiles. "You ok with that?" I asked feeling a bit worried. "Yeah" Stiles replied. "There's extra blanket and pillow in the wardrobe there" I said pointing out. "Ok thanks" Stiles nodded.

"Goodnight" I said. "Goodnight" Stiles replied.
