Sabina's POV- July 2018 Do I pretend this never happened or do I actually bring it up to Adrian? My feelings for him were strong, but I don't think they were at love just yet...or were they?
"Morning"
I offered Adrian a smile as he kissed my forehead and proceeded to fill himself a cup of water.
"How long have you been up?"
"About an hour" I answered.
He slowly nodded and took a seat next to me.
"Doing?"
"Checking my emails and editing a video" I replied.
His eyes darted to the screen of my laptop.
"So uh I said something last night and I'm not sure if I said it in English or not"
So he was getting right to the point.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"When we first got out of the dentist, you didn't understand what I was saying"
Correct.
"Was it because I was mumbling or speaking in Swedish?"
"You were speaking in Swedish" I disclosed.
He slowly nodded and took a small sip of water
"But then I spoke to you in English"
"You did" I confirmed as I closed my laptop.
He immediately looked down at his water as I turned to look at him.
"Right before I fell asleep I remember subconsciously saying something but I also heard myself say it out loud"
He looked at me right in the eye.
"I said, I love you"
I slowly nodded and watched as his cheeks flushed up. Without break eye contact, he spoke up.
"And I meant it"
Boom
"You obviously don't have to say it back, and I hope that it didn't scare you away"
"Of course it didn't," I told him.
It got me thinking.
"Besides confessing my love for you, what else did I do last night?"
"You drooled on my shoulder most of the night" I mentioned.
He hummed.
"That's hot"
A smile appeared on his face as I giggled.
"I'm starving"
"Same, Mario forgot about bringing me food and I guess I fell asleep a little after you," I told him.
"We can go to the grocery store?"
"Should you be driving?" I questioned
As if on cue, the front door unlocked.
"I bring food!"
Mario stepped into the apartment holding a bag which I assume contained the food.
"A little late, don't you think?"
A smirk formed on Mario's face as he looked at Adrian.
"I see you're speaking now"
Adrian rolled his eyes.
"What did you bring to eat?"
Mario set the bag on the countertop and pulled out two plates.
"This one is yours"
He handed Adrian his plate.
"And this is yours"
"Thank you," I said as he handed me my plate.
"I am so sorry I forgot about you"
"It's okay" I assured him.
"It's not"
"I fell asleep a little after, it's, fine," I told him.
I opened my takeout container.
"I didn't know what to get you, so I got you sweet foods since well..it's what I've seen you eat"
Mario was correct there.
"This one says you're not a picky eater, but American's aren't used to eating fish early in the morning"
Also correct there.
"So I played it safe"
"Thank you, it looks yummy and I'm sure I will eat it all" I replied.
He smiled.
"Well, I'll let you two eat. I will be back for both of you in two hours so be ready"
Before I could ask, Adrian spoke up,
"Why?"
Mario gestured at me.
"Because she did not come to Sweden to look at your apartment. We're going sightseeing"
How nice of him.
"So comb your hair and make yourself look decent. I'm talking to you Adrian, Sabina is already beautiful"
Adrian rolled his eyes.
"Bye"
Once he left, I stood up.
"He forgot a spoon for you" I told him.
So I got him his spoon.
"What I said won't make our relationship weird, right?"
I shook my head and took a seat next to him.
"I'm falling for you incredibly fast and hard. I don't know if what I feel for you is love, but I do know that if it's not its pretty darn close" I stated.
A smile formed on his face.
"Okay"
I accepted the kiss he was leaning in for.
"Since we're talking about things you said last night" I mentioned.
He raised an eyebrow.
"What did I say? Was it a sex joke?"
I laughed and shook my head.
"You called me Bebs" I replied.
"Huh"
He smiled.
"Well I have been trying to come up with a cute nickname for you"
I had a nickname for him, and it was pooh.
"And Bebs will do?" I questioned.
"Yes"
