Sabina's POV- January 2019
Adrian groaned as I scooted away from him, and proceeded to sit up.
"I changed my mind, I don't want to go to Sweden"
I laughed and turned to him.
"You only say that because it's early" I stated.
It was 6 AM, and he had to be the airport before 9 AM for his 12 PM flight to Sweden.
"It sucks you can't come"
I smiled.
"Say hi to your parents for me," I told him.
He scoffed.
"Knowing mom, she'll ask why you're not with me"
I was close enough to see him frown.
"Before greeting me"
I mean, he was probably right.
"It sucks that you started school already"
The semester began this past Thursday.
"So what are your plans for today?"
"I'm having breakfast with Lucy after I drop you off," I told him.
I turned on the lamp that was on the side I slept on and took a knee to unplug edthe charger from the outlet.
"I like that you two get along and hang out"
I laughed as I looked at him just as a pout formed on his face.
"But I want to go too. There's always food involved, and I like eating too"
"When you get back" I promised as I shut off the lamp and picked up my duffle bag.
I set my duffle bag on the bench at the end of his bed and proceeded to pull out today's outfit.
"What else are you doing today?"
"I'm going to go pick out dad's puppy" I informed him.
"With Lucy?"
"No, all on my own" I answered.
Stevie wanted to go but she had class.
"Anything else?"
"I've got to tidy up the kitchen and living room" I responded.
"Why?"
"Dad invited Sonia and Jamie to dinner," I said.
"Is Jamie a dude?"
"He is" I confirmed.
"Oh"
I found myself smiling.
"I'm not his type" I assured him.
Jamie liked men.
"You're everyone's type"
I rolled my eyes and turned to look at him.
"Adrian, you need to get up and change," I told him.
He groaned and lied back down.
"You're going to have fun without me"
"Because I'm looking forward to sitting through an almost 3-hour lecture on psycho-linguistics theory on Wednesday" I stated.
"What's Thursday's class on again?"
I was only taking two classes this semester.
"Augmentative and alternative communication" I replied.
