Sabina's POV- Thanksgiving 2018
"Let me help you with that," I told Adrian.
He had been fumbling with the buttons of his shirt.
"Thank you"
I began at the top and buttoned downward. Once I finished, I gave him a quick peck.
"Sabs, help"
We both looked away from each other towards the doorway just as Paul walked in. I couldn't help but laugh because it looks like he too was having a hard time buttoning his shirt.
"I'm late"
I glanced at the time.
"You're good on time" I assured him.
The doorbell rang making him look at me with wide eyes.
"Adrian and I are walking you" I reminded him as I began buttoning his shirt.
My grandparents were finally here, and how did I know this? I could hear my nana.
"I see a little black cat, where is my grandbaby?"
Nana was about to walk in on me buttoning Paul's shirt.
"She's upstairs"
There was a light knock on the open door making me look away from the half-buttoned shirt on Paul.
"Well, what a sight. I expected one, not two handsome young men"
I smiled at Nana before turning my attention back to Paul's shirt.
"And of course my gorgeous granddaughter"
I finished buttoning Paul's shirt and then adjusted his tie for him.
"Hi, Nana" I greeted as I stepped around Paul to greet her.
She wrapped her arms around my torso as I placed my head on her shoulder.
"You've lost weight"
"I have" I confirmed.
"Do I have to start mailing you food again?"
I laughed and pulled away.
"I mean, I would not mind" I admitted.
Her cooking was delicious.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Korea"
I shook my head.
"None of that nana, you stayed up and watched the games that's all I could ask for," I said.
Papa had hip surgery early December and was in no way okay to be traveling by the time February roamed around. Nana couldn't exactly leave papa (even though he claimed he was okay).
"Well, I certainly screamed loud with that tying goal"
I laughed and allowed myself to be pulled down in a hug. She kissed my cheek before letting me go.
"We have lots to catch up on"
I nodded and watched as she eyed both Paul and Adrian.
"Let's start off by you telling me which is yours?"
Paul chuckled.
"This is where I excuse myself to finish getting ready"
"We're walking you there" I reminded him.
He nodded and left the room.
"Before you introduce me to your handsome boyfriend, who is the handsome man that just left the room?"
