Flight

It was late into the night and the group had come back from my cousins. River and I did some work. Though I was confused by most of it. It was different then what we did but I was of course picking it up fairly quickly.

River went to an office somewhere in the house to work leaving me here in the living room watching TV with Zach. Everyone else went to go get long awaited sleep. Zach decided to stay and sleep with his head in my lap. Zach told me about how he and my cousin thought about starting something up.

"Hey." I heard someone whisper and I look up to see River shirtless leaning against the doorway. He looked tired, dark circles slightly under his  eyes and a hunched posture.

"Hi." I smile and he walks over sitting next to me wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into his chest. "He's such a baby." I grin at the sleeping Zach on my lap.

"At least I know your good at taking care of babies for future reference." River kissed the side of my head and pushed some of my hair back soothingly. What a thing to say, I feel tingly and I smile.

"Hmm? Little yous running around. They would be spoiled rotten." I muse and River nods with a soft chuckle, Zach began to stir. Little Rivers would also be little hellions. I mean cute ones but still, maybe he would be a very respectful child though?

"How long have I been out?" Zach sits up and looks at me affectionately. He hugs me and pulls back rubbing at his eyes. River pulls me back into his arms and rests his face in my neck.

"Three hours. Go get some good sleep." I point to the hall where everyone else is sleeping. He gets up and shuffled to a room down that hall.

"Come on, you need sleep too." River picked me up and carried me up the stairs to our room. The swaying on our way up lulled me into a very tired state. I'm surprised he even picked me up at all, he looks dog tired.

River took my shirt and pants off leaving me in my undergarments. I let him get undressed too and pick me up placing me in the bed. He pulled me close and placed his head in the crook of my neck again.

"Your gorgeous, and amazing. Thank you for being so strong." He whispered in my ear and I grin turning around and allowing him to cage me down in a kiss.

When I woke up I put on some lazy clothes and went down to the breakfast ready for us. When I entered I was a bit sore but it seemed normal. I walked up to River and kissed his cheek stealing some of his food.

"Hey!" He yelled playfully and I shook my head eating one piece of his toast. We are the only ones up.

"Hey yourself." I grin and he grins back. "Are you going to tell your pilot about our trip or do you want me to?" I asked finishing off the toast, I notice how much more comfortable he is with just me around, like Noah and him.

"I did that yesterday." He grins and I smile back, he's so gorgeous. His smile is mouthwatering, how did I even get here. "I know how to be productive and remember." He gets up placing a glass of orange juice in front of me and a bowl of fruit. "Like I remember your fruit." He kissed my head and I marvel at this man before me. "I'm gonna go pack. We have to go see my father in Italy."

"Okay, will you have extra security at the house while we are gone?" I asked before he walked out and he smiled. "You already have it handled." I click and he nods leaving me to my food.

"I can't believe how good he is at this." I whisper shaking my head. My computer that River bought me was at the edge of my counter so I grabbed it and started to work on the blog I have had secretly about clothes for a while.

"You two are very cozy." Justice mused and Noah  walked in with her. They both went to go make themselves food.

"Yeah." I nod concentrating on the blog. I heard Rivers footsteps on the stairs and when they tried getting a look at the computer before I closed it but they were too slow.

"All packed, you need to go decide which shoes you want." River took the computer and put it in his computer bag he brought down with him.

"I know you packed my shoes, so why do you want me upstairs?" I stated and he looked at with the look. "You didn't! My vans!" I smiled on the inside and ran up the stairs with River hot on my trail.

"Come here." He pulled me into a hug and I grinned. "I wanna cuddle." Gosh this man.

"The big gang leader wants to cuddle!" I whisper yelled and he growled throwing me over his shoulder and jumped on the bed with me in his arms.

"Turn the TV off." River reaches for the remote but I move it out of his reach again. "I'll have our driver drive us there and I'll have a maid carry our bags down the stairs. I will carry you and cuddle with you the entire time so you don't have to stand you lazy bones." He chuckled and I nodded. I like when he carries me. His arms flex and gosh that's hot.

"Did everyone go to sleep?" I asked and he nodded picking me up and walking me down the stairs.

"Adelaide, can you grab our bags next to the door in our room and bring them to the car?" River instructed the maid and she nodded walking up the stairs we had just come down.

"You know, your really cute when you order people around." I smile and he shakes his head, I know u did something because he grumbles a bit.

"I'm not cute!" He places me in the car and I laugh. I booped his nose and he glared at me. I swear he's so sensitive.

"Touchy subject?" I laugh and he shakes his head. "Are we ever gonna go back to school?" I asked and he laughed, god that laugh just melts me to my core.

"You could graduate now if you wanted! You are taking college classes you don't need anymore school." He smiled and I nodded with a sigh of relief.  I know school is important and believe me I excel but I'm just kinda done while we have all this on our plate.

"I have thought about it for a while now and I didn't want to go back." I look out the window watching as the buildings pass. River laced his fingers with mine as he drives us to the private air strip of his.

"I decided we should stay in Italy where we have lots of security and we both know the language." River looked over nervously. Yeah, I took four years of Italian. It's a romantic language.

"Okay!" I sighed in relief I don't know how well any other country would have worked.

He parked on the strip and walked around the car. He opened my door and lifted me from my seat carrying me up the stairs of his large private plane.

"There's a bed in the back where we can cuddle." He smiled and I laughed nodding as he lays us down on the bed. Thinking about everything, he's so conciderate.

"You're amazing." I begin running my fingers through his hair. I begin to wonder if he's attempting to over compensate.

"Not as amazing as you." He looked up at me and I laugh. "I'm serious. I don't know many people that would handle everything you've gone through in the last two weeks that you have. You are amazing, thank you for being with me." He kissed me and I smiled kissing him back with soft open lips.

"You're cute." I muse knowing the outcome and he shakes his head looking away from me. "Are you not gonna talk to me until I say your not cute?" I ask and he nods.

I get out of bed and I feel him watching me as I walk out of the room to the captains cabin.

"Hi Joe!" I smiled and he laughed waving me in. The copilot was named Frank and he pointed to a seat I could sit in.

"Hi Kat!" He smiled warmly. He's young and kinda boyish. "Is River being a Dick?" He asked and I smiled, right on the money.

"I called him cute, he didn't like that." I frown and he smiled again, a laugh was shared by both men.

"Boss is not cute. Probs sexy but not cute." Joe chuckled and I sighed walking back to the room where River was frowning. Maybe joe can date River, I laugh at this thought.

"You are cute but I love you and I don't want to not cuddle." I groan and he chuckles grabbing me and pulling me against his chest. He's always got me in his arms in some way.

"Your cute. I am sexy." He whispers in my ear nipping at it. Shivers ran through my body and I smiled falling into slumber.
