River disappeared as we turned the corner, my mind went wild at our kiss. The sparks, the way his lips molded to mine. I touched my lips and they were buzzing, my mind was buzzing. I don't know everything was just so confusing and buzzing. I missed it, I wanted to do it again.

I looked back and bit my lip. Scarlett looked at me weird as I smiled with a dazed expression. I regained composure as my phone went off. I feel her eyes on me but I don't dare connect them I might continue smiling like a goof.

I checked it and it was just a news thing from the Apple news app. I turned my attention to the world passing by us. It was gorgeous outside and the streets were quiet.

I laughed when I realized all that had just happened, happened during school hours. I smiled in happiness and shook my head. I got out of school early.

"Alright were here." Jake announces and we climbed out of the car and into the mall. We found a cute pink dress for my little sister and Jake went to go pick his suit. The mall wasn't that busy and we had no trouble getting through lines.

"Come on Scar, let's choose my dress." I smiled and she nodded as we walked to the boutique. I tried on a few dresses groaning when they weren't the one. I don't like long dresses very often so choosing takes a while.

"We can use the one from last year?" Scar groaned and I hummed trying on a specific blue dress and I fell in love.

"Found it." I announced walking out and she looked up and smiled jumping around. I feel like all of her excitement was from her not having to be here any longer rather than finding the dress.

"Oh my. You're so pretty!" She tugged at the dress and inspected it. I smiled when she nodded approvingly. I believe she is just satisfied with leaving.

"Thank you!" I grinned and she went running to tell Jake we were done. I stretch my back and turn in certain directions to see how flattering it was elsewhere.

"You're really gorgeous." A man said from behind me and I looked. He wasn't anyone I knew. Someone mysterious, I got a bad feeling about him and my immediate thought was of my father.

"Thanks." I went back into the dressing room. I changed and handed the lady the dress to ring up.  Gladly she took it with a bubbly attitude, she better have a good attitude I'm dropping a big check today on her.

"Ah. Why did you change. It looked so good on you?" The man commented immediately as he saw me exit.

"I uh," I scrunched my eyebrows, what the hell does he want? Why wouldn't I change for her to ring it up?

"I think she's fine just like this." I heard Rivers voice before I saw him and I sighed when his arms wrapped around me.

"Hi." I turned looking up at his face and he smiled kissing my forehead. What's with the intimate gestures today? I'm not complaining to be perfectly honest.

"Hi, no chance you're gonna show me the dress?" He asked and I smiled laughing I shook my head and he sighed nodding. He was one sly dog, defiantly takes the cake.

"What are you doing here?" I asked running my hands through his soft hair. Suddenly we were just so comfortable with each other not giving a care was was done by the other.

"Nothing, just following you so you don't get hurt. Good thing I did." He smirked and I slapped his chest making him rumble with laughter. Has he been lurking this entire time?

"Quit being a dink." I rolled my eyes walking up to the counter and handed the lady my card. She smiled handing it back. I grabbed the dress before Rivers prying fingers got him in trouble. It was wrapped in a black garment bag which I am thankful for.
