(A/N: There are a lot of mistakes and errors in this book , so please excuse any mistakes you'll find. I am planning on rereading the chapters to fix all mistakes, so just bare with me.)

Ashanti P.O.V

"I'm taking you back home so let's go" The light skinned girl said as she drop a duffel bag in front of me.

I sat on the edge of the bed shocked.

Did she just say she's taking me home as in letting me go?

"Wait , your for real" I spoke

"I'll give you ten minutes to get dress and be down stairs" Was all the light skinned girl said before walking out the room

Excited wasn't even the word to explain my feelings, I was so ready to go home but then my mind started wondering.

What if it's a set up and this was my last day living?

I bit my bottom lip as I pick the duffel bag up and unzip it , I seen the outfit that I wore that night but my phone was still missing.

I wasted no time slipping on my clothes for some reason I had a gut feeling telling me that the light skinned girl was telling the truth about letting me go. After I was done getting ready I walked down the stairs.

"You ready" The light skinned girl said as she look up from her phone

I nodded and watched her opened the door for me , I smiled as the warm air hit my body. It's been so long since I was outside while two whole days but still it felt good. It looked like it. Was around 7 because the sky was dark blue and the street lights was on meaning it was almost night time.

"Don't even try to run , I would find you regardless" The light skinned girl whispered as she passed me and went to her 2018 BMW car.

I nodded and followed her , I was to scared to even make a run for it because I didn't know this neighborhood so I would get lost. I opened her car door and got in her car smell like lavender.

I closed the door behind me and put my seat belt on as she started up the car and drove off.

"Here are the rules" The light skinned girl spoke

"Keep you mouth closed , if you even try to snitch I will be force to kill you and your mother" She said as she stop at a red light and look straight at me.

"I won't , I pro-" but I was cut off

"I will be watching for a while to make sure you won't , and just know I know everything about you" She said looking back at the road and started driving again

"I know where you sleep , I knows what school you go to and I know your entire family and friends , so don't test me" The light skinned girl spat

I looked at the light skinned girl wonder why she was so beautiful but mean at the same time it was like she didn't have a heart or feelings.

I sat back biting on my bottom lip , I was scared ass hell right now. This girl knew everything she probably even know my mother is the chief of police.

I seen the neighbor i lived in and a smile spreaded across my face , I was happy to go home. I watched as the girl parked on the other side of the street from my house and unlocked the door.

"Remember what I told you , I have people who work with your mother and if I say the word they will start shooting" The light skinned girl stated

"Okay" I spoke biting on my bottom lip due to how nervous I was.

"Get out" Was all she said

I wasted no time opening the door and getting out , I closed her car door and walked around the car and walked towards my house. I got my self ready to act like I was okay and got my lie together before knocking on the door.

The door opened revealing my mother who looked terrible, it looks like she been stress out and crying.

"Ashanti" was all my mother said as she pulled me in for a hug

I hugged her so tight trying my hardest not to cry. After I got down hugging her I turned around to see the light skinned girl car was gone , I closed the door and turned back towards my mother.

"Where was you Ashanti  , I've been worry sick about you" My mother said pulling me into another hug

"Mom" I started to say

I wanted to tell her so bad I was taken and held hostage but i remember what the light skinned girl said. So I prepared my self to lie.

"I was at a friends house mom , I just needed a break you know from you always babying me" I stated as she let go looking at me like I was crazy

"What! Ashanti I am disappointed in you" My mother said angrily

"You could've called to let me know you was okay , your only seventeen" She raised her voice

I put my head down feeling bad for lying to her but it was to protect her.

"I called the police and had a search for you and what friend house" She added

"No one mom dang" I said getting irritated by all the questions

"Go to your room and your going to school tomorrow" Was all she said as she walked away from me

I sighed and went up to my room , I hated it when she was mad at me I need my mom right now but I couldn't tell her the truth.

I walked to the bathroom and stripped out my clothes and hopped in the shower. It felt so good to be taking a shower in my house.

After I was done with my shower I slipped on a big t shirt and laid in my bed. I closed my eyes smiling

I was finally home.
