SWEET ORANGE MARMALADE

Ingredients:
-1 kg oranges
-2 1/4 litres water
-2 kg sugar
-juice of 1 large lemon

DIRECTIONS:
-Wash fruit,remove rind. Shred or mince finely.
-Cut up the pulp,removing pips,and tie pips and pith in a muslin bag.
-Put the rind,pulp,and bag into pan. Add water and lemon juice.
-Bring to the boil and simmer gently until the rind is tender.
-Remove the bag of pips and squeeze out the juice.
-Add sugar and stir until dissolved;then boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
-Allow the marmalade to stand for about 5 minutes and bottle.
