"Love in the present."
Isa 'to sa mga nag-rhema sa'kin while watching Cyrano Dating Agency. Since iba ibang love stories ang na-feature sa TV series na 'to e madami dami din akong natutunan.
Most often than not kasi, diba, e hinahayaan nating ma-imprison 'yung sarili natin of the things happened long ago.
Kaya hindi tayo maka-move on. O 'di kaya naman e sobrang nao-overwhelm tayo sa idea of the future.
Ang ending, nao-overlook natin at nate-take for granted 'yung mga bagay o mga tao that are right in front of us. Katulad na lang ng love ng Lord. He, in this very moment, loves each of us deeply.
But because we're so much absorbed of our past or of our future, we forget to appreciate His love that is more real than anything we have right now.
Kaya ako, from now on, I will start to love in present tense. 'Yung past, tapos na 'yun e. Matagal na.
'Yung future, no worries. :)
