"Mum! I want to go to the park!" Dudley Dursley yelled from his room. Harry grunted as his cousin sprinted down the stairs and passed him, making the green eyed boy fall.

"Boy! Get up and get Dudley's jacket. Now!" His Aunt, Petunia commanded. Harry nodded, slowly standing up again and making his way to the tiny cupboard. Why in the name of Merlin are they keeping their stuff in here? Harry thought as he picked his cousin's jacket and looked around the cupboard. He shivered. The memories of his weeks — or even months — there made him shiver.

Dudley looked at Harry, a Popsicle in his hands. The boy scoffed and walked up to his no-good cousin.

"Give me my jacket!" Harry handed the jacket to Dudley, who ripped it off his hands. Aunt Petunia came out of the kitchen and glared at Harry.

"You'll be coming with us. If you do any funny tricks this time, you foolish boy are in big trouble." She spat. Harry flinched a bit to his aunt's words. "Understood?"

"Yes Aunt Petunia."

The overweight boy ran to the playground with a small grin. His mother followed him, looking around.

"This place is so disgusting." Petunia sniffed at the park. Harry didn't smile, at all. He sat on a wooden bench behind the monkey bars, placing his hands on the back.

He sighed and closed his eyes. He missed home, in which he meant Hogwarts. He missed his friends. It had been just few days of being with the Dursley's and it was a nightmare. Harry couldn't come down if he hadn't any excuse to, or if he was told to he would've to cook, help with cleaning or just doing everything Dudley says. Yeah, he could go downstairs for a couple of quarters, but it wasn't much.

"Mum! What's that?!" Harry heard his cousin's annoying voice screech. He looked up to them and saw Dudley pointing at a white creature on the ground. Harry stood up and started slowly making his way to them.

"It's a rat! Ew!" Aunt Petunia screamed and jumped few steps back. Harry crouched down and looked at the animal, ferret actually. "What are you doing?!" Aunt Petunia asked, a bit disgust in her voice. Harry didn't mind her aunt's nagging and reached to pet the ferret. The fur ball looked confused as Harry stopped and looked the animal's eyes.

"Malfoy..?" Harry whispered quietly that only the ferret could hear. Before Harry could do anything, Dudley — who had come closer every second — grabbed the animal. Harry's eyes widened as his cousin was holding the squirming ferret. "Stop! He's hurting!" Harry yelped. Dudley's eyes scanned the boy.

"And I own him now."

Harry could hear the ferret squeaking on the boy's hands. Harry turned around to look at his Aunt.

"Aunt Petunia..." Harry looked at her with soft eyes. An idea popped into his head, but is he worth it? Is Draco Malfoy, the boy who he had been rivals for last 4 years, was he worth it? Everyone is worth it. Harry thought. "Can we keep him..?" Dudley lost the control of the ferret, which jumped to the ground and quickly ran behind Harry's legs. Somehow Harry felt bad for his enemy. Harry's Aunt looked at Dudley, who clearly wanted the same as Harry. They both wanted to keep the animal.

"For you my boy..." Aunt Petunia looked at Dudley but then at Harry. "You will feed it, go out with it and do everything he needs." Harry nodded. It felt odd, his Aunt had to tell him what to do to his enemy. His cousin ran to Harry and the ferret, who he picked up.

—————

Dudley dropped the furry animal to the floor. Harry looked at him in shock but in a moment was on his knees, picking the small creature up. The ferret looked up to Harry and gave him a thankful look. Harry's lips formed a bit of a smile to his face.

The brunette boy carried the ferret up to his room and placed him carefully to his bed. The animal looked around.

"Not what you expected huh?" Harry began to speak. He sat down to the floor. "Is it really you?" The ferret looked up to the black glassed boy and nodded. "Why- How did you-?" He continued but then stopped as he realized that the animal — known as Draco — couldn't speak. "Sorry."

The white ferret let out a sniff, quite not the noise Harry had expected but it didn't mind him. Harry suddenly stood up and walked to the other side of the room. Draco followed his actions as he got a paper, ink and quill. The brunette came back and sat down. Harry didn't know what he was doing but just went with the flow. He started writing. Draco frowned and turned around, he didn't like the fact that he was in Potter's bed. In his house. As an animal. Harry gazed up to the other and smiled a bit. He looks so cute.

"You don't like being ignored, then?" He asked Draco. Draco turned around again and gave him a glare. Harry rolled his green eyes. Draco let out a whimper as he moved his foreleg. Harry absolutely heard him and leaned forward to his bed. He extended his arm to look at Draco's paw. Surprised, the ferret formed boy just hissed at Harry, but finally let the brunette touch him. After a minute Draco pulled his forearm back and glared at the taller boy.

"You're hurt, Malfoy, you know." Harry said calmly. Draco shot him a tired — rather sarcastic — look. "Oh come on, let's get you fixed." Harry said and stood up. He went to the other side of the room again and opened a box. "Here's a bandage thingy. I really don't know how to take care of a ferret's paw..." Draco let out a new sound. Like a snort, but not.

Harry stared at him. "Did you just snort? At me?" A devilish grin spread across the ferret's face. Harry just ignored him and looked at the ferret's features. The same blonde fur, the same eyes, somehow the same nose and the grin. "Stop it, Malfoy.." Harry muttered and rolled the bandage over Draco's paw.

"Boy! Come and get your food!" Uncle Vernon yelled from the door, not opening it yet. Draco squeaked a little and slipped under the pillow. Harry smiled to the ferret, but stopped as the locks on his door started to open.

"Of course." Harry said and hopped up again. As the door opened Harry glanced back to his room and then left.
