Harry ran down the corridor to the Divination class but stopped right after he saw the door. He quickly turned around and looked at Draco who had ran right after him. "I'll go now. You'll come in few minutes after."

Draco frowned. "I'll go first." Harry rolled his eyes.

"Git."

"Prat."

"Just go, okay." Draco had his smug smile on and entered the class as Harry stayed behind. All of the eyes were glued on Draco as he sat down beside Blaise.

"Where were you?" the Slytherin boy asked. Shrugging, Draco pointed the door.

"Outside. Nothing to worry about." he claimed. Yeah, nothing to worry about...

The brown large doors opened and closed. Draco saw Harry stumbling in with his bag and sitting down to his usual seat, beside the Weasel. Talking about the friends of Harry's, Granger started to chat with Harry and Draco wasn't sure why, but he had to ease drop.

"You have to find a date, Harry." Granger smiled. Harry's expression wasn't quite enjoyable. He frowned and rolled his eyes. Draco was now staring at the golden trio and not only Ron and Hermione notice it, Harry did too.

Ron growled and glared at him. Hermione shot him an angry glare but Harry with a small friendly smile. Draco smiled back and leaned his chin on his hand. Hermione raised her brows at Harry as he didn't even glare at Draco. Draco felt his emotions roll up inside him. Harry's smile was just so adorable, he couldn't see how anyone would not adore him.

-----

"Did Malfoy just smile to you? Usually he just scoffs and stuff like that, but a genius smile? I have never seen him smile like that." Ron scolded loudly, enough to get Nott's attention.

"He would never smile to a nasty person like Potter." the boy mocked back, flipping his short brown hair back smirking. Draco sighed as he stood up, already feeling the spell going off. Harry glanced at Draco, worriedly.

"Piss off, Nott." Ron snarled and picked up his bag.

"Theo, I have to go." Draco noted and made his way out. Nott quickly moved closer to Ron and glared at him, then Harry and Hermione. Not saying anything, he walked off.

"Hi Harry!" a voice beamed behind the trio. Harry was the first to turn around to see Romilda and Colin standing in front of them.

"Hi, Romilda. Colin." Harry smiled back. Romilda flipped her dark brown curly hair back flirtatiously.

"I know this could sound weird from my mouth, but would you go to the Yule Ball with me?" Harry heard Ron's squeal and the following whimper of it.

"Yeah. That would be nice." he gave her almost a fake smile. With that, Romilda sprinted out with Colin. Harry then opened the door and slipped out to find the lost ferret.

-----

"Hey! Millicent! Where did Draco go? He wasn't in the common room." Theodore frowned as he walked down the hall of the North Tower.

"I think he went there." Millicent pointed at the firts years Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and then left with her friends as Nott thanked her and ran to the door.

As he thouched the doorknob, the door opened and revealed Harry and Silver. Nott stepped few times back and then scoffed.

"What the heck, Potter? Where is Draco?" he spat. Harry sighed.

"Look, Nott, I don't know what is this obsession you have with Malfoy and I don't clearly know where he is. And I don't care." Harry's raven hair fell to his face but he fixed it immediately, his hand touching Draco, who was annoyed by Theo's presence.

"No. I know that you did something to him. Tell me where he is and what you did to him." Nott reached out to his wand but Draco lost it. He jumped down to the floor and barked, showing his sharp teeth.

"Pathetic." Nott hummed and took his wand out. "Stupefy." his wand pointed to Draco.

Harry gasped as he saw the animal being slammed to the other side of the corridor with a loud whimper. His eyes widened as Nott started laughing.

"How could you!?" Harry yelped running to Draco. He bent down next to the tiny fur ball and quietly picked him up.

"What did I do? Are you scared, Potter?" Nott denied and mocked the Gryffindor boy."That animal is just a pain in the ass." he dictated. Harry was now in the edge of letting a tear slip down.

"Pain in the ass?! No. Ferrets are people too! Ferrets have a way of finding the people that need them-" he cried out, holding Draco in his arms and glancing down at him. Then he looked up to Nott. "Filling an emptiness we don't even know we have."

Nott crinkled his nose and scoffed.

"And whoever said 'It's just a ferret.' Has obviously never loved a ferret." Harry said, rubbing his eyes from not letting himself cry in front of the Slytherin boy.

"Well, I obviously haven't loved a ferret and that's a fact." Nott said and walked few feet forward. "And I'm still waiting for you to tell me what are you doing to Draco. It's not over, Potter."

-----

Harry hurried up to the dorms, not caring about the class what was about to start. He saw Draco move his paw and whine. Moving his stuff away from his bed, he put the ferret down.

"You're okay. You're okay." he repeated and sighed heavily. Draco opened his eyes slowly and blinked. "That git hit you with a spell." Harry muttered looking at Draco. The ferret gritted his teeth and huffed.

Harry laid on the bed beside Draco. "What in the bloody hell was Chelsea doing in the forest, earlier though. She was like-" he hesitated. "Cursed." the word slipped from his mouth slowly but clearly. "It makes sense. Think, Chelsea's been weird. She does things for your mum-" Draco bit Harry's hand. "Ow! Sorry. Now I have to remember; If a ferret bites you it is nearly always your own fault." he chuckled.
