A few months had past and I was into my third trimester. We were so happy to have another baby. Elena was happy too. My second pregnancy was harder than my first. I ate as healthy as I could and exercised as much as possible, but I felt weaker. My tummy was getting bigger and bigger. Which meant more stretch marks. I hate stretch marks.
I looked at the clock, it's 1:00 p.m. I went to go lay down with Elena. Tanner was at work so it was just the two of us at home. We took a nap until 3 p.m. Tanner finally got home. He took Elena and fed her and he brought me lunch. I was having really bad back pains, but at this point, it was worse than usual. Tanner took me to the hospital to see what was happening.
I put my gown on and hopped on the bed. Tanner sat beside the bed holding my hand. The doctor came in and raised my gown to reveal my huge stomach. He turned on the ultrasound machine. The doctor poured the jelly on my stomach and positioned the wand. The doctor moved the wand around my stomach to reveal something incredible. We were having twins. That's why I was getting bigger really fast.
We were ecstatic to know we had not one baby on the way but two! The way Tanner's eyes and smile widened when he heard the news made my heart happy. I love my life with my amazing husband, our sweet baby Elena and our two bundles of joy. Nothing could ruin this happy moment for us.
