"Wow, you're actually pretty decent in the kitchen for once." Hendery snaked his arms around his fiancé's waist, placing his chin on his shoulder.

Xiao Jun only turned his head and glared at the other before resuming the task of frying eggs. "I've been doing this since last year Hendery." he deadpanned.

"I know." he chimed. "I just like to tease you about when you had non existent cooking skills."

After the couple finished eating their breakfast, they were out of their apartment to head to the harbor.

It was a warm, bright day outside, the ocean crisp and blue, light waves rippling under the docks. Hand in hand, the boys walked towards their boat (one they purchased after they graduated college).

Getting into it, Hendery steered the boat around, going in a random path around the harbor. Xiao Jun enjoyed the wind brushing his face from the movement, watching other boats sail out.

Hendery stopped after making a full circle around the area. The two sat next to each other, Hendery leaning his head on the other's shoulder.

"Remember when we first met?" he suddenly asked.

"Yeah." Xiao Jun replied, distinctly pin pointing out the memory in his brain. "It was about three, wait, maybe four years ago now?You just moved into the neighborhood and put paper boats into the sea."

Hendery chuckled, that sweet sound that still had Xiao Jun melting til this very day. "I was dumb. But hey, it worked."

"You're not dumb. You're just a five year old trapped in a twenty three year old's body."

"You tell me that almost everyday."

"Am I wrong?"

"No."

Xiao Jun smiled, pulling his fiancé closer, their foreheads pressing against each other.

"I love you." he nuzzled their noses together.

"I love you more." Hendery smiled back, before closing the gap in between their lips.

The peaceful sounds of the environment surrounded them as they kissed, the boat rocking slightly on the water.

Everything was perfect.

fun fact: this story was based off a dream i had. xiao jun, hendery, and yangyang were all in this boat and just having a great time on the ocean. they also went swimming if i remember correctly. yeah.
