"I'm wondering where you're gonna get the money for boos." Xiao Jun said, tilting his head as he tried to think.
Yangyang laughed through the screen. "I have my ways."
"Did you invite Renjun?"
"Of course I did, dumbass."
Xiao Jun rolled his eyes playfully. "Okay, Hendery and I will be there. Tomorrow night, right?"
"Yup." Yangyang gave his friend a thumbs up. "It's gonna be great."
"Especially in your new, big, and grand house."
"Yes. But if something breaks, I'm in deep shit."
"You're the one who decided to have alcohol at your party."
"Oh well, you only live once." Yangyang shrugged. "My dad is rarely out of the house, might as well take advantage of it."
"Ah, I see."
"I gotta go to bed now. I have to be up early to buy all the stuff. See you then Xiao Jun."
"Good night." he waved to his former neighbor before turning off facetime and heading to bed as well.
—
"When do you have to go back to university?" Hendery asked, carding his fingers through Xiao Jun's hair, who currently was resting his head on his lap.
"Near the end of this month." he replied, placing his comic book down. "How about you?"
"Same, by the third week of this month."
"Mm."
There was a moment of silence between them.
"Let's enjoy this while we can." Hendery smiled, continuing to play with the other's hair.
"Yeah." Xiao Jun agreed, staring up at his boyfriend, who leaned down and briefly pecked his lips. "Oh, Yangyang, my former neighbor, invited us to a end of the summer party. It's tonight at seven."
"Oo." Hendery was intrigued by this. "Is there gonna be alcohol?"
"Yup."
"Oh, damn."
"I didn't expect you to be the type to drink. You seem like a good Christian boy to me." Xiao Jun admitted, laughing a little.
"Hey, is it bad to party once in a while?" Hendery shot back, a small pout forming on his lips.
Xiao Jun reached up, grabbing his boyfriend's face and kissing that adorable pout away. "No, it's not bad." he replied.
"Okay, good." Hendery stated. "Because I haven't been to a party in a long time."
—
They arrived at Yangyang's massive house. Entwining their hands together, Xiao Jun knocked on the door, patiently waiting for someone to answer.
"Hi." Renjun greeted them, letting the boys into the house.
"Wow, this is pretty chill." Hendery said as they entered the living room, his eyes skimming over the very few people who were present.
"Yeah, Yangyang's parties are usually pretty chill." Xiao Jun answered before shouts erupted through the air.
"Xiao Jun! Hendery!" Yangyang yelled, slouching back on the couch as he held up his cup.
"Hey Yangyang." Xiao Jun replied, coming to the conclusion that the boy was tipsy. Him and Hendery settled on the other couch.
"Oh! You're the people who bribed me into buying pretzels." Hendery pointed at the two boys who were seated next to him.
"Yeah, Renjun invited us." Jaemin said, taking another sip of his drink, making a sour expression while swallowing it. "Alcohol tastes like shit, how do you guys drink this?"
"It's not that bad, babe." Jeno reassured the other, wrapping his arm around Jaemin's shoulders.
Xiao Jun reached out to the coffee table sitting in front of them, mixing a can of coke and vodka together. Hendery blinked, watching his boyfriend take a sip of the concoction.
"Aren't you gonna have some? You seemed excited to get wasted." Xiao Jun asked, earning himself a light slap on the shoulder.
"I just said I haven't been to a party in a while." Hendery huffed back, scooting forward to make himself a drink.
About half an hour later, all the boys were more or less wasted. Jaemin and Jeno were making out against the kitchen counter, isolated from the other four who were still in the living room.
Yangyang was currently in the middle of a breakdown, his words slurred and muffled with cries as he spilled his entire life story and struggles. Renjun placed his hand on his shoulder as an attempt to comfort him, but gulped when Yangyang buried his face into his chest and continued to sob.
Xiao Jun watched the scene go down. He nudged Hendery's side, leaning towards him to whisper in his ear: "Are they finally gonna confess?"
"They looked whipped." Hendery replied, taking another gulp of his beverage. But before Xiao Jun could say more, Hendery grabbed him, pulling his boyfriend onto his lap.
Xiao Jun gasped, feeling Hendery's hands on his hips.
"Hendery," he whispered, their faces close, staring into the other's half lidded eyes. Their alcohol infused breathes mingled for a few more seconds before Hendery closed the gap, passionately kissing his boyfriend.
Xiao Jun's hands grabbed onto the latter's shoulders, steadying himself. He unconsciously groaned into Hendery's mouth, feeling a tongue slip in between his teeth.
Hendery took control of the kiss, dominating Xiao Jun's mouth with his tongue, exploring it for the first time. Their tongues clashed together, the taste of alcohol mixed in with it.
Pulling back breathless, Xiao Jun continued to press their foreheads together, completely lost about what just happened. With pants leaving his glossy, swollen lips, hair messy and eyes heavy, Hendery stared back at his boyfriend, and Xiao Jun would be lying if he didn't think that was hot.
"You look super flustered." Hendery laughed, his hot demeanor disappearing in 0.2 seconds.
"Stop." Xiao Jun whined, knowing he couldn't hide the deep red blush that painted his cheeks. He leaned forward and buried his face into the crook of his boyfriend's neck out of embarrassment.
Hendery kissed the top of his head, wrapping his arms tightly around the other boy. Xiao Jun's eyes fell closed, probably all the alcohol was getting to him, and fell asleep in the other's embrace.
