"tj! you're going to have to be the man of the house! there is no dad! stop trying!" tj's mom screamed as amber walked in the doorway slowly.
her hair in a bun, makeup running down her face, and her normal pajams on. tj looked up at his sister almost desperately but then back at his mom. he didn't want amber helping him again because her mental health always ends up getting worse when she does.
their mom screamed again, "you are not allowed to quit basketball for a stupid job! stop acting like we need the money! i have a perfectly good job and we're fine! im going out again! fucking money's on the counter!" and she stormed out of the door.
tj gasped for breaths as he cried in his knees, against the wall. amber sat down beside him and put her head on his shoulder, "it's going to be okay, teej. somehow. i promise you, it'll be okay."
cyrus goodman was having trouble sleeping. he didn't want to go to dance class tomorrow. but its mostly because he really didn't want to do what they had to do.
they're choreographing some christmas dance and they have to make suggestions.
which means he'd have to pair up with someone to discuss personal inrests with dance. he only has one friend in that class and the teacher's a delight but cyrus really isn't in a mood to be peppy
he rolls over and fumbles for his phone
