The walk toward Tom’s car was silent. I’d hoped that it wasn’t as awkward for him as it was for me. There was a flush of heat in my thighs and I couldn’t keep it under control. I felt myself clench under the pressure. His smell, the way he walked, his smile. It was all too much.

Beep-beep

Tom had pushed the button on his keychain and the car unlocked itself. The store wasn’t too far and I was willing to walk, but now that we were taking a car, I could purchase a few more things.

We were literally at the store within minutes and I still had a huge knot in between my legs. Every little thing he did, made my womanhood tremble. It was the little details that made her hum and sing praises. I needed to clear my thoughts. Think, think, a puppy? A gorgeous little puppy, all cute and googly-eyed. That was pitiful, I couldn’t think of anything effective. Tom found a quick off-street parking. Suddenly, I could just see his elongated arm in front of me. I could see his freckled skin and the blonde hairs that spilled over his toned arm. My eyes followed down to his hand, he’d reached over to grab something from his glove compartment. Before I could properly analyse his hands and imagine the things I would let him do to me, I pulled myself together. I caught his gaze and I was sure he could read it all over my face.

“Shall we?” his voice was hypnotising.

Damn the woman’s cycle, ovulating was not a good situation to be in. A single mother, who hadn’t pulled out her bedroom eyes for anyone in a while, and to be in the presence of this man – of all people.

A curt smile was all I could manage before hopping out of the car. Maybe thinking about something for dinner would help? Hmm, what about a good roast? No, that would take too long. The less clean up the better, I want to be able to help out my situation tonight. I don’t think I’ll survive otherwise. Tom took a small basket into the store and I grabbed one of the smaller trolleys. We strolled into the store, carefree.

“So what did you have in mind? For dinner I mean?” Tom asked me without a coy tone to his voice. Why was he so comfortable? So brazen? Who am I kidding? He’s probably used to all of this,

“Uh, to be honest I have no clue. I’m thinking something quick and easy. I want to have an early night tonight.” I said, relaxing a little.

“Fair enough, you have been working all day, I’ve had the luxury of sitting in a chair and getting a head massage. Quite a good one too, I might add.” I watched as the sides of his mouth curved upward, forming a big toothy grin. It touched his eyes. A genuine smile.

With a smile spread across my own face, I looked to the ground, bashful. “Thank you. I have a lot of clients who strictly ask for me because of my shampoo skills.” That didn’t help at all Tom. Thank you for making me squirm under your compliments. Suddenly I felt like a mere teenager, talking to that boy that every girl wanted but were too shy to talk to. What the heck was wrong with me?

Tom picked out a few things here and there and I tried to get the essentials and the ingredients to a few dinners I finally settled on making for the week. Mine was a little more than I could juggle but Tom wouldn’t take my ‘no’ for an answer. By the time we reached the car I was so aroused, I couldn’t sit in my seat without shifting every second.

“Are you okay darling?” he asked with a quizzical look.

“Uh yeah, I just can’t remember if I locked the doors to my car. I’m horrible like that.” I lied, shifting in my seat yet again.

“I’m fairly sure you did. You need not worry.” He said reassuring me. “We’re nearly there.”

Not near enough.

When we finally reached the parking lot, I couldn’t help but sneak in a diminutive rub over my jeans. What the hell had come over me, I was like a cat, purring for a mate.

“Thank you again Tom, I’ll see you –

“Two weeks from now.” He quoted, looking at me over the roof of his car. All I could muster was a blush-filled smile.

Tom helped me out with my groceries. Once the last bag was in the back of my car, he asked “Can I have a quick look at your phone?”

“Uh..” I was confused but handed it over with no further questions. “Sure.”

I watched impatiently as his lengthened thumbs twiddled away. Oh those hands, I couldn’t help but imagine them slipping under my shirt, graze my lower back and draw lines up my spine. The sensation would be heaven, to be touched by a man again would be –

“Here you go.” He said the smile lines visible. “Txt me your number? I’ll save it. I left my phone in the car.”

“Sure. No worries.” I said looking at my phone and then back to him.

Tom opened up his arms and leaned in for a friendly hug and a kiss on the cheek. A simple gesture and definitely not one that was sexual but the state that I was in....I had to stop myself from hugging him too tightly or run my hand across his crotch. My ‘won’t-power’ was definitely tested. Getting the full effect of his cologne, I closed my eyes as his lips touched my cold skin. He smelled so good.

This is what I thought of later that night in my empty bed. Al was fed, showered, changed, and put to sleep. It was an early night for the both of us. After I was done relieving myself, I remembered to txt the gorgeous bastard before drifting into a dreamless sleep.
