The Lost Truth

chapter 28

Taehyung's POV

We walked inside the mall.
Jin walked up to us and started splitting us into groups.
He put me with Jimin.
Once we were all in groups we split up.
"Who did you get for secret Santa, Jimin?"- Taehyung
"I got Y/N, who did you get?"- Jimin
"I got Namjoon"- Taehyung
I looked at him as he looked down to the floor.
"You know Y/N knows your her past friend, but she wants to deny it. She doesn't want to believe it's you. She believes you when you said that you didn't know. Then she doesn't want to believe it's you because she loves you."- Jimin
"She doesn't love me"- Taehyung
"Are you blind? Everytime she looks at you she looks at you differently. I wish she would look at me like that. You know I've always liked her. No, I don't like her I love her"- Jimin
I looked at him. If I was going to cry I knew it would be now, but I didn't want to cry.
"If you won't show her the love she deserves, Taehyung. Please let me be the one to show her I love her."- Jimin
What he was saying was breaking me. I do love her, but Jimin loves her too.
"Jimin, I'm sorry"- Taehyung
"Your sorry that you're selfish? Or are you sorry that you won't even love her and only keep her this way? She'll be broken"- Jimin
His words were like knives against my skin. He was telling the truth. I was being selfish.
I wasn't showing her love. I was hiding all the truth from her.
We walked into a store and Jimin was already gone from where I was. I saw him looking at something. It was a ring.
He was going to buy it for Y/N. I knew he was going to use this at his advantage, but I knew he doesn't want to.
He came towards me with a bag in his hand.
"Let's go to another store so you can get your gift for Namjoon"- Jimin
We found a book store.
I picked out a few books, but I still wanted to get him something else.
We went to another store and I found a laptop I could buy him since he broke his other one recently.
When we finished we went to the food court.
I saw Y/N, Suga, Jungkook and Jin already there and Namjoon and Hoseok.
We sat there until Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jin finished eating.
We went back to the cars.
When we got out of the car I catched  up to Y/N.
"Can I put the gift I got in your room?"- Taehyung
"Yes place it where you what"- Y/N
I smiled at her and went up to her room.
I walked inside.
I've been in her room before, but I saw something I never saw before.
This box was at the top of her bed.
I sat on her bed as I opened the box. That was us. That on that paper was us. Probably only 9 at the time or younger.
She found it. I thought she lost it. I remember when we were looking for this box everywhere in her room and she never found it. I guess she finally found it. I placed down the things I bought on the floor beside her bed.
I went down stair and sat near the edge of the couch.
We were all picking a movie and fighting as we all kept trying to take the romote control from one another. I grabbed onto it until Jimin took it out of my hand. Then we saw as Y/N took it from Jimin. She picked a movie and sat next to me as that was the only spot to sit.
Jin passed out the hot chocolate and marshmallows.
During the movie I couldn't stop myself, but to look at Y/N. Jimin was right. I'm in love with her and I'm selfish.
I'm keeping her away from loving anyone else. I can't even show her I love her. Jimin wants to show her he loves her. He wouldn't though. He won't unless I let him. I'm being selfish letting Jimin keep his feelings to himself while he wants to tell Y/N he loves her.
I'm being selfish letting Y/N continue to love me without me showing her love. 
She should love Jimin, but I want to love her and her to love me.
When the movie ended we all started fighting I listened to when Jin and Y/N talked, but I wasn't focusing on their words. I was pondering about my love for Y/N. I was going to let her go or I wasn't, but I couldn't be selfish no longer I had to tell her the lost truth.
