Camella
A thought occurred to me the next morning on my way to school. What if something happened while I was out fighting crime? I very well couldn't just call up Tony Stark and ask for a helping hand. I would need someone ready to help as soon as I needed it, so I decided that I would tell Michelle about it. I picked her because she seemed like the kind of person that would give me assistance when needed, but wouldn't be freaking out over it, plus she wouldn't tell anybody. It's obvious that I didn't choose Peter because he would probably flip his shit.
I had third-period gym class with Michelle, so I decided to tell her then.

As I exited the locker room, I put my hair up in a quick ponytail and tugged my shirt down. I scanned the gym for Michelle, but couldn't find her. I spotted Ned by the side of the room and jogged over to him.
"Hey, Ned," I called out as I approached him.
"Hey, Camella. What's up?" he asked casually.
"Have you seen Michelle around anywhere?" I inquired, searching the room again.
"She didn't tell you?" Ned asked. I looked at him with scrunched eyebrows. "She's away visiting some family. She said she'd be back in about a week."
I mentally cursed. I need to tell someone before then... what if...
I pulled Ned's arm and led him where there weren't very many people, by the side of the bleachers.
"Uh, what are you doing?"
"I need to tell you something."
"Okay..."
I put a hand on my hip and rubbed the top of my forehead, pacing slightly. "Don't, uh, don't freak out, okay?"
I glanced around nervously to make sure no one was near us, then looked straight into Ned's eyes. "I'm Ultra Violet."
Ned's eyes widened in disbelief. "No way. Prove it."
I shuffled near the wall to be a bit more hidden, then willed my eyes to turn gold and showed him my telekinesis.
I returned my eyes back to normal. "You cannot tell anyone, okay? Especially not Peter or my mom."
"Why not Peter?"
I sighed. "Because if he knows then he'll try to stop me from doing it because it could be dangerous, and I don't wanna stop because Tony Stark recruited me for a reason, right? I'm helping people by doing this. I can't pass this up. I just needed someone that I can call if I need help while I'm out patrolling, someone I can trust."
Coach Wilson blew his whistle and called everyone over.
"Promise me you won't tell anyone, Ned. Promise me," I pleaded.
Ned smiled at me reassuringly. "You can count on me."
I smiled weakly and made my way over to Coach Wilson, wondering if I just did myself a favor or made a huge mistake.

After third period ended, I left with Ned on my heels, asking me a million questions a minute. We were making our way through the halls, trying to get to public speaking class, which we had with Peter.
