It was the day of the sports festival and Ryou was doing some last minute traning in his room. He wanted to win, but overall he wanted to do his best.
"Ryou."
Ryou turned towards the voice.
"Yes Izuku?"
"I.....I just wanted to wish you luck. N-not that y-you need it!"
Since when has he studdered when he talks with me?
"Thanks.... lets do our best."
"Yea, okay!"
Izuku stayed there, an akward silence began. Ryou just ignored it and continued training.
"Are you going to stand there and stare all day?"
"A-ah s-sorry!"
Timeskip~
Class 1-A was in the waiting room, an excited and anxious aura surrounding them. Ryou sat on a chair, his focus on his phone.
"Midoria."
Both Ryou and Izuku looked at Todoroki who had spoken. He realised what he said and cleared the confusion.
"Izuku."
Thats my cue to stop listening.
Ryou turned his attencion to the game on his phone until he heard his name again.
".......that goes for you to Ryou."
Wut?
"Okay, we must go to the arena at this time. Everybody lets go." Iida announced.
Ryou got up and followed the rest of the class to the feild, his head beginning to hurt because of Pres Mics loud voice and the crowds cheers. Midnight then walked to the stage after all wthe classes were presented.
"Now lets welcome the student speaker of this year: Ryou Midoria!"
Oh god.
Ryou walked to the stage pondering what he should say. The entire stadium went silent as Ryou stood behind the mic.
"I wish everyone here luck.... except Bakago. I hope you trip and die. Everyone else, have fun."
He then gave a thumbs up to everyone with a very fake and forced smile.
I hate my life.
As everyone clapped, Ryou saw how Katsuki was ready to kill him with his glare. So he ever so slowley raised his middle finger at him, his smile never faltering........
Midnight announced the first trial: the obstical course. Everyone lined up to begin, and Ryou was lucky enough to get a place at the front.
Midnight began the countdown.
"On your mark.....
Get set.....
Go!"
Ryou sprinted full speed to the tunnel, everyone following. Once in the tunnel, it got very crowded, so it was obvious it was the first obstical.
I need to move out of this place before-
A sudden cold gust of wind enveloped everyone and ice began forming on the ground, freezing people in place.
"Damnit..."
Ryou jumped just before he was frozen. He ran and was able to catch up to the culprit: Todoroki.
