That was a dream right? The message I got yesterday was a dream right? It wasn't a dream neither was it a nightmare.

It's so unbelievable, I got accepted into 'Buildteck Corp'! As far as I remember, I wrote an application months ago and had an interview like weeks ago but I doubted I would get the job.

With all other applicants like me who came for the interview, it psyched me because amongst all of us, I was the smallest looking and probably the youngest one. Some looked like graduates but some looked like undergraduates like me.

The job is not necessarily for persons with university degree but for undergraduates as well. The only thing needed is experience. Of course I have experience. When I was 16 while waiting for my admission into college, I worked as an assistant accountant at a school.

Though I'll be walking part-time, it will consume all my energy combining with school. But it was worth it. I need to gather enough money for the loan. Once the loan is paid, I can be free. I can finally do what I want with my life. I won't have to live in fear anymore.

The pay is really good for a starter. I can raise like 5million in two years with the salary, exception of the huge amount of money dumped into my account every month by Chris' family.

I sighed, fidgeting on the bed. My faced turned to the side, now facing the window by the front as my cheek rested on the pillow. Bright light permeated the peach curtain, giving a dim brightness to the room.

Thank God it is a holiday, if not I don't think I'll be able to go to school for morning lecture with these sort of laziness I'm feeling.

Today I have to go to my new work place to get started. I heard a knock on the gate. My eyebrows knotting together, I pulled my myself up on my elbows. It must be Blake.

No time to stretch, I packed my hair into a messy high bun as I got up from the bed. My feet meeting the polished tiles caused a shiver to run through me. Wow the weather is cold.

As soon as I stepped outside, the low temperature rose a bit, now not as cold as before. Is my room the only one with a low temp.

I unlocked the gate, seeing no one other than my expectancy - Blake. He was staring at me, not in an impatient manner but rather in a calm but surprised way.

I know, just keep it. You want to say 'girl, you're a mess'. Not a bad idea though but you don't have to say it Blake, I know it already.

But instead of cutting his stare, his eyes scrolled down my entire body, making me uncomfortable. Then it struck me - I'm in my t-shirt with my teats pointing out at him.

Best way to start a day Eddy.

He coughed, giving me space to digest my embarrassment. "What took you so long to open the gate?" He asked, being the jerk that he is.

"Oh, like you are my master" I slam back in a calmer tone.

"You well know how to treat a stranger and you deserve a golden medal for that" He strides past me like last night. "I was knocking on this gate for hours before you could drag your glued-to-the-ground legs to finally open it." He said with a somewhat amused tone.

"And if your hand wasn't as light as a feather on the gate, I probably would have heard your knocks" I defended myself with a slight smirk.

He looked back at me then shakes his head with a wide simper tugged on his lips. "You know you should just admit that you have hearing difficulty" He said as he pushed the door and stepped inside the house.

"You really need to learn respect you know, I'll personally see to it that you go to attitude-control institution."

"I would say the same for you Eddy" He said as he crouches close to the extension.

Eddy? He already knows my name? How in the world did he know my name?

"How do you know my name? Last time I recall, I never told you my name" I said to him, my arms crossed over my chest.

"I checked it up on net" He replied, unplugging his devices.

"Ha ha, very funny" I lowered my eyelids and slightly rose my eyebrows a bit.

"You don't have to know, not everything needs to be explained" He grins while packing his devices and their chargers.

"Well it's good to know you'll never come back" I said wittily. Actually happy to know that he is going.

"Don't be so sure, I haven't fixed the problem with my light so luckily for you, you will be seeing this handsome face again" He spoke confidently.

"I pay the electricity bill around here excuse me, why my house, why not elsewhere. You have friends here don't you?" I asked, not really pissed.

"Babe chill, I consider you my friend, aren't we? So since I'm your friend, I could use your electricity"

"So why don't you bring your fridge as well? " I asked sarcastically.

"You are right, I was even thinking of that" He pulled on a smirk.

"Just go back to your hole and never come back, seeing your face this morning has already spoiled my day" I said.

"Too bad because seeing yours made my day brighten" He gave a mocking upside-down smile.

The sufficient ray of light from the gap in-between shown on the living room, giving a better view of him. He was wearing a tracksuit bottom with a loose tank top, exposing his bare arms and small bits of his chest.

He has a brown complexion like me, though he's a little lighter than me. His jaw is finely chiselled with a little stubble on it. Almost like Chris', he has a similar male-curved cupid bow. But unlike Chris, his lips are much more fuller.

His hair is like tiny dreadlocks planted on top of his head in a straight up but round punk. The hairs around the sides and back barely shaved. This irresponsible trending haircut. It looks messy but that only add to his looks.

No he's not hefty, instead he's just slim, even slimmer than Chris. Chris is slim in an attractive way, not too slim. Even to the point you can see his biceps through his formal shirt and that's because he is broad. He probably works out. But I bet Blake's 6 foot measures up to Chris.

"Are you checking me out? Seems you like what you are seeing" He smirks.

I scoffed, "You wish," mumbling.

As soon as he left, I went back to unplug the iPad I charged overnight. Chris should maybe know about my good news. It'll be starting these evening by 4 and ending by 9. I don't know what he will be thinking about this good news of mine.
