My world screamed fear at me as I sat, mind far away from my premises. The least I expected was for the truth to turn out the way it's about to.

Was I wrong to keep such secret from my friends?  Was I?

I felt pushed by my arm, prompting me to turn towards the source of the push. My eyes rolled all the way up to meet the dark brown eyes of Grace staring half concerned at me. She stood folding her arms and her lips twitched to one side while her eyebrow stood up.

"Aren't you aware of your surroundings anymore?" She spoke, causing me to dart my eyes around.

The hall was now a little scanty because people had made their way out. "How long was the class over?" I thought to myself. Immediately I packed my books into my bag as fast as I could.

"Sometimes I wonder at the kind of friends I got and how I even made them" She groaned, turning to leave.

I stood up as well but stopped when Grace turned to me with a twisted expression. "And she ain't even replying, really? What's up with you? Did you see a ghost or something? Or found out your boyfriend is a werewolf or perhaps cheating?" She stopped, placing her hand on the head of the chair in a secretive manner.

"Is he cheating?" She spoke in a whisper.

"I'm not sure, maybe" I shrugged and pushed her out of the way. I heard her gasp behind me only for me to goggle my eyes. Silly girl

"Stop being a drama queen" I said

"Tell that to Jacklyn" I froze for a second when I heard Jacklyn's name. On second thought I wish it was Grace instead of Jacklyn at my place.

Grace kept on blabbering but none of her words I heard because I just shut the world around me, my only concentration at the moment was getting home and facing my problem. I thought Blake was lying about everything. I thought it was just part of his silly jokes, I never took him so serious.

The moment I got into a cab back home, my heart raced uncontrollably and my hands had become stiff. "You okay?" I heard Grace ask beside me in the cap. I almost jumped off my skin.

"Better than ever. The movie I watched yesterday is taking a toll on me" I managed to lie, feeling guilty for it. I should probably take it back. No it's better this way

"Guess that explains your strange behavior" She shrugged, taking out mint from her purse."Want some?" She asked but I shook my head.

"I don't want my mouth tasting bitter" She sighed, putting on her ear plugs and sinking into her seat.

"You didn't even care to ask why I'm going with you?" She looked up at me. I then realized she lives close to school, so close no need for transportation. I gulped. Is she coming to my place?

"Umm, why?" I asked in a way I could feel the vibration in my breath.

"To your place, heard you got a new apartment" She smiled viciously at me. I gulped harder. "Just kidding, I only want to see someone close by" She shifted on her seat. "But I'll come by once, though. I don't want to see things when I come there o" She looked at me with a smirk.

"Like what?" I asked, fully knowing she'll say something stupid.

"Finding you riding on top of hottie. I'm still innocent" My eyes went wide and I nudged her arm pretty hard while she laughed.

"Not everyone is like you" I shook her hand off my arm while she laughed harder with that mint in her mouth. As Grace laughed, I noticed an uncomfortable expression on a passenger's face who sat at the passenger seat in the cab. He looked provoked perhaps by the noise caused mainly by Grace. I whispered to her to stop laughing.
