Nadia decided to sit next to me in detention when I didn't even want to talk to her. I forgot to text Lauren so she was probably waiting so I decide to text her just not to talk to nadia.

I'm stuck in detention. Don't
wait for me just go home.
Lauren probably won't reply but whatever. I didn't want to just leave her there. I just ignored Nadia not wanting to talk to her. So while she was talk I just acted like I was listing. Which I wasn't.

Kenzie POV
Detention went by slow. Probably cause I had no one. Once the bell finally rang I ran to find Annie since she had to stay behind because she volunteered to help design a sign for the concert.
"Oh hey Kenz. So how was detention with Johnny?" She said smirking. I just let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding. "I'm guess not great." Annie says hugging me. God are these days going to suck.

Johnny POV
Today is the day. I get to sing for Kenzie in the concert, I wrote a song for her and I'm playing the guitar as well to match it. I decide to practice a bit early so left to school about half an hour early.
I was going to perform in about 2 hours. Which was enough time for me to practice. I was playing my guitar along with singing. It was a song for Kenzie, so I hoped she would be there and figure out it was for her.
Third person POV
Kenzie was looking for Annie so that they could go see the school concert. Once they got there they saw Hayden on stage giving a hug to Johnny. Kenzie then realized that Johnny had his guitar in his hand which meant that he would perform. "I- I don't want to be here anymore" Kenzie says, Annie grabs her arm, "why? Just because Johnny is here? Come on Kenzie, you can't just run away because he is in the same place as you!" Annie said.
Hayden was looking for Annie and Kenzie, While the other walk in. After he found them he wished good luck to Johnny before walking out the stage and making his way to them. Johnny was a bit happy but nervous. The only person who had heard him sing was Kenzie. He just hoped Kenzie could solve the lyrics in the song. He knew Kenzie was smart so she would.
After a while he made sure his guitar was tuned, and cleared his voice. While he was getting ready he saw a red head come his way. "Great." Johnny says quietly. "Hey, johnnnnn." Nadia says, dragging the 'n'. "I just wanted to wish you good luck." She said holding his hand. "Thanks, But um... I should start getting ready." He lies while getting us hand away from hers. "Okay then. I'll see you after the concert." She says then walks away.
After a while everyone almost went but it was Johnny's turn next. He started getting ready, then he heard. "Thank you Alex. Up next we have Johnny Orlando, singing a song he wrote called "Thinking about you" for a special someone. Please welcome Johnny Orlando." After he heard that he made his way to the chair they set up for him. He started feeling nervous but once he found Kenzie he felt relaxed.
Then he stared singing and playing his guitar

I realized the whole song was about me... I felt like I wanted to cry, so I took my stuff and ran out while everyone clapped for Johnny. But I couldn't be there, I didn't want to be there. After a while I heard footsteps running after me but I kept running.
Johnny POV
After I finished the song I saw Kenzie run away, so I quickly walked off stage and went running towards her. Once she was pass the doors I kept running until I saw her. There she was near the exit doors, until I yelled. "Mack!" She stopped for a minute, then I caught up to her. Then I heard her sniffling, she has been crying. "why?" I heard her say quietly while turning around. I just stayed quiet and decide to risk it. I hugged her but she just stood there. After I let go of her I just said "I'm sorry." And looked at her eyes. Her beautiful brown eyes were now blood red. "Why?" She said again. "Why did you just leave without saying goodbye? Why didn't you even text me or something to explain yourself? Why did you promise something knowing the next day you would break it?" She says starting to cry more. I just stood there. "Why after 6 years you decide to show up?" She says then she try's to walk away. "Kenz. Just let me make it up to you. Please give me another chance?" She stopped for a minute
