Evelyn was in her ninth month of pregnancy and it was awful. She got more contractions, and She had less sleep. Her Husband, Seth was there most of the time because of his job but not always was he able to soothe her when she went through this pain.

One day, Evelyn was sitting on the couch watching Game of Thrones when her phone rang. She got off of the couch and waddled over to the island, where her phone was. She picked up the phone. "Hello?" She said in a tired way. "Hey Princess!"Seth said in an excited tone. Evelyn's Voice quickly cheered up as she replied "Hey love!"
"How are you and Babygirl hanging up?" Seth asked. She put a hand on her 9 month old bump and said "We're good but she needs to come out!" Seth laughed and they'd talked a little bit before hanging up.
"Well i gotta go baby i will see you when i get home Love you!!"
"I love you too Sethie!"
Evelyn went back over to the couch and continued watching Game of Thrones until she fell asleep on the couch.
10:00PM
Evelyn laid sound asleep as She heard soft footsteps approaching the bed. She knew they were Seth's, so she lazily moved her body over to fit his next to her. Seth crawled into bed and grabbed her gently pulling her into his arms and kissing her forehead.
"Hello My love" she spoke in a tired voice. "Hey Ma."Seth said softly. He kissed her forehead once more and whispered soft nothings into her ear until he heard her light snores.
2:00AM
Evelyn woke up to use the restroom..once again and went to wash her hands. As she was washing her hands, a wet and warm substance dripped down her leg as she moaned in pain from her contraction.
"C-Colbs..?" She said as loud as she could in her pained state. No answer was heard from her boyfriend so she picked herself up from off the floor and made her way over to him the best she could. "Colby.." she said quietly, tapping his strong arm causing him to stir.
"Hm.."
"My water broke." she whispered.
His eyes shot open as he immediately pulled her up gently and led her onto the bed and getting dressed. Grabbing the bag they'd packed, he swiftly carried her to the car.
-AT THE ER-
"shhh baby, it'll all be over soon" Colby said, gently caressing his wife's hair as she moaned in pain from the contractions. Eventually, she was able to get an epidural and felt a lot better as time progressed.
About 8 hours had passed and the whole gang was there. Evelyn's parents, her little sister Ava, her little brother Jonathan, Colby's parents and his sister were on facetime. Not long after the 8 hours, It was time to push.
"Ok Evie, this is what we've been waiting for....here is my hand i need you to squeeze it as hard as you can. I am here for you." Colby's soothing voice took some of the worry away but she was still very scared.
"Ok Mrs.Lopez, I need you to push" the doctor said.
Evelyn pushed and immediately screamed and squeezed Colby's hand. "Ok I'm gonna count to 5 and you push again" the doctor said. "1...2....3...4......5 push!" Evelyn pushed harder only to scream even louder and squeeze Colby so hard "COLBY DANIEL LOPEZ I HATE YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS TO ME!!!"
Colby gently stroked hair and sweat out of her eyes and off of her face. "Ok one more push i can see her head" the doctor says. "no no no i can't do one more!!" Evelyn says. "Yes you can just do one more, I'm gonna count to 3. 1... 2....3 PUSH!!"
Evelyn pushes once more until the cries of a baby girl fill the room. Evelyn along with Colby, breaks down into tears. Seth and Evelyn share a kiss and he whispers in her ear, "I love you" The doctor takes her to be cleaned up and Evie and Colby shared another kiss.
When the Doctor comes back, she hands Evelyn the healthy baby girl, all dressed in her blanket. "What do you want to name her?" The doctor asks.
"Alivia Nicole Lopez" Seth says.
"That's a very Beautiful name" The doctor comments. She types it into the computer and leaves. Seth takes Alivia from Evelyn to let her rest a little. As she slowly falls asleep, she hears Seth saying:
"Hello Baby Livvy, it's daddy, me and your mommy love you so much and we cannot express how thankful we are for you. I want you to know that no matter what we will always love you and as a father, i promise to guard and protect you with my life and soul." Soon enough, Evelyn is all teary eyed and sniffling. Colby puts Livvy in her Mini hospital bed and Evelyn scoots over for Colby to come and join her.
Just as Evelyn is about to fall asleep, she hears seth whisper in her ear, " I love you Evie, You and Livvy." She smiles lightly and falls asleep in his arms.
