*Percy

When i woke up the next morning, Nico and Dr. Brown were talking in hushed voices. I was still curled up on Nico's lap, something i could actually do now that he was taller (a fact I liked for some reason...). When they noticed I was awake they both fell silent.

I decided against asking what they were talking about- if I needed to know they would tell me. Dr. Brown smiled at me and told me I was free to go whenever, although breakfast was on its way. Nico gave me a harsh look and I promised I would stay for breakfast.

Nico was good at making me feel... Better about myself. I hated being dependent on him but if I was getting better then maybe it was okay. I think he's the reason I've been willing to eat and I know how upset he would be if I continued to hurt myself, although the urge was strong sometimes. But I tried to push the urge down- for him.

Wow, I'm trying to make him happy despite having tried to kill myself. I really am the Mom Friend™. But him betting happy makes me happy so... Who cares?

Nico handed me a pill bottle, the same one Will had given me before I left- antidepressants. "Dr. Brown approved these. She thinks they'll be good for you. One a day." I nodded and took the bottle, popping one into my mouth.

A new nurse walked in bearing trays of food. Oddly enough, the one set down by me contained blue pancakes.  The nurse with the food left the room, followed closely by Dr. Brown. I raised an eyebrow at the color of my breakfast and Nico mumbled something about a "special request".

I ate my pancakes quickly and waited impatiently for Nico so I could check out. As soon as he was done I jumped up and walked out the door, having changed into my clothes just a couple minutes before. I quickly checked myself out then walked outside, feeling sunlight for the first time in a while. Nico followed closely behind me.

We walked down the raod a ways before nico stopped and turned to me. "Ready to go home?" He asked. I nodded after slight hesitation. Do it for Mom. He held out his hand and i gtabbed it as he stepped into the shadows.

*Nico

I like holding his hand. I know that it was purely for transportation but when Percy gtabbed my hand to shadow travel, i couldn't help but notice how soft his hands were. How warm. How well they fit together.

When we stepped out of the shadows though, all of those thoughts were banished from my mind. The smell of alcohol someone seemed stronger, although I didn't think that was possible. I heard snoring from the coach. The rest of the house was dim and silent.

I looked over at Percy and saw he was shaking. His eyes were wide, like a deer caught in headlights. I tried to get his attention but he seemed paralyzed.

I heard a door opening and looked over in time to see Ms. Jackson enter the apartment. She was moving slowly, trying to be quiet. But she dropped all of that when she saw us. She dropped her keys, causing a jingling noise to move through the apartment. Then she cried out "Percy!" and came over to give him a hug.

She didn't seem to realise he was paralyzed. Or that she had awoken Gabe. She started talking very quickly while hold Percy in her arms. "I came home from work one day and you were gone and i was so worried that you were kidnapped or forced into another ques-"

She cut her words off when she felt a presence nearing. Percy still hadn't moved and Ms. Jackson looked like she was nearing the same state.

Gabe crept up to them and muttered, "why the Hell are you back?" He grabbed Percy by the neck and threw him to the ground. Ms. Jackson sprung into action and grabbed his arm, yelling at him to stop but he just pushed her awake.

Gabe got close to Percy and raised his fist, preparing to hit him. Not able to watch Percy get hurt even more, i sprung into action and grabbed Gabe's arm. I jumped into the nearest shadow with no real destination, just thoughts of somwhere far away.

I materialzed, still holding onto Gabe's arm. I quickly dropped it and stepped back into the shadow, not even taking in the place i was leaving the man. I saw Gabe look around, confused, before he lunged at me, but I was already traveling back to Percy's apartment.

As i stumbled out of the shadow, i saw a look of gratitude and disbelief cross Percy's face. He looked fine, just a little disoriented and shaken and Ms. Jackson was also moving around, uninjured.

I crossed over to Percy and got him to sit next to me on the coach and tried to calm him down. I held him close in my arms and promised that Gabe was far away, that he couldn't hurt Percy anymore.

I pulled back to take in Percy's face. To reassure him that this was real. Looking into his eyes, i don't know what came over me. Time seemed to freeze.

I saw similar emotions flood into Percy's eyes. I saw nothing but him. And as his eyes started to close, i realized mine did the same. My head started to lean forward.

I felt Percy put his arms around my waist. I put one of mine on his cheek, the other tangled in the hair on the back of his head.

And when are lips finally met, i saw stars. It couldn't have lasted more than a couple seconds but it seemed to last forever. He pulled back too soon, leaving me feeling cold but content.

When i opened my eyes, i saw Percy smile. A real, genuine smile. And i realized Percy loved me. And i loved Percy just as much.

Hey y'all its me! Im back with another chapter. Sorry, i know this one kinda sucks but oh well. I kind of have an idea of where i want to go with this so yay- i think. Itll probably suck but ill try for you guys.

Do you all like it so far? Is it bearable? What do you guys want to happen? Am i doing anything terribly?

Anyway, i probably wont post again before xmas so Merry Christmas guys! I may or may not have been snooping and im getting tickets to the Banditø concert from my parents! Ahhhh yayay! Any other tøp fans (my username is actually based off of one of their songs (pick-above-and-see))? Pls make yourself known.
