*Percy

Me and Nico kissed. As I was trying to fall asleep that night, that thought kept running through my head. Me and Nico kissed.

It made me giddy with joy. But also extremely guilty. Me and Annabeth just broke up, was it too soon to start something with Nico? The loyal side of me screamed that I betrayed Annabeth while the other said to be with Nico since he made me happy.

I decided to figure it out in the morning. I layed with my back against the wall, a pillow hugged to my chest. Nico was out on the coach. He agreed to stay with me and my mom for a couple weeks after my mom almost begged him.

As i finally fell asleep with that same thought running through my head, i made a decision. Go for it. Nico made me happy. And I wanted him.

When I woke up a few hours later, rain was falling. The constant tapping was soothing to hear. I layed on the coach for a couple moments before sitting up and looking around the house.

Ms. Jackson was making food in the kitchen and it looked like Percy hadn't woken up yet. I slipped of the couch, still wearing my clothes from yesterday, and went to help with breakfast.

When I entered the kitchen, Ms. Jackson froze before spinning around, her eyes wide with fear. Upon seeing it was me, she calmed down and greeted me.

"Good morning Ms. Jackson. Can I help you with anything?"

She smiled sweetly at me. "You don't need to do anything Nico. You're a guest... Although, if you really want to you could set the table."

I nodded and grabbed plates and silverware. I barely thought about what I was doing, my thoughts occupied by something else. Why would Ms. Jackson react like that? She knew it was only me and Percy in the house and she isn't scared of either of us. Although, up until very recently, there was another person who lived with her. Gabe. Ms. Jackson was terrified of Gabe.

Apparently Percy isn't the only one scarred from abuse. But while Percy has 3 free therapy sessions, Ms. Jackson didn't and couldn't afford any on her own. I wonder if Ms. Jackson also suffered from depression as well, but she didn't seem like it.

Just then, Percy walked into the room. He was acting similar to how Ms. Jackson when she saw me. He was walking slowly and quietly, his eyes shiny with fear. He flinched whenever he made the slightest sound.

This is how it must have been with Gabe. Every morning, he probably moved like this, afraid of what Gabe would do. I know percy knew Gabe was gone but I guess this had become habit for him.

Ms. Jackson saw Percy enter the kitchen and gestured to the table, where I was setting down some fruit. Percy came over and sat down, followed by Ms. Jackson who was carrying a plate of waffles.

"Morning Percy." I greeted him.

He responded with a quiet hello, his eyes darting around, looking for a threat that wasn't there. Ms. Jackson pulled him close and whispered something in his ear. I could tell from reading her lips that it was a short message, only 2 words. He's gone.

Percy visibly relaxed at that statement and began talking about what he wanted to do today. I tuned him out until I was brought up in the conversation.

"I think we should get Nico some clothes too. Mine will be too small for him and he should have some since he'll be staying a while."

Ms. Jackson nodded. She pulled out her wallet before I could even object and handed some cash to Percy. "That should be enough..."

"No, no, its fine," i immediately tried to counter their plan, "i can shadow travel back to camp and pick up my clothes, its no big deal."

Percy looked at me and raised his eye brows. "Really? Because last I checked you didn't even own that many clothes. And after your growth spurt, they don't fit very well." He looked at the clothes i was currently wearing, which were a size or 2 too small, with an emotion i couldn't quite recognize in his eyes. Something told me that the emotion that was present somehow related to our kiss last night. I kinda liked the way his eyes shone with it, it seemed almost mischievous.

"Okay, okay fine I'll go shopping. But I have money."

Ms. Jackson was the one to shoot me down this time. "Nope. Your our guest, we will pay. I insist."

I frowned at the outcome but agreed to it all the same. I knew there would be no point in arguing.

Soon after the shopping debate finished, everyone was done eating. I was happy to see Percy eat a whole waffle. His recent eating made him look way better, he no longer looked pale or defeated.

I helped the Jackson's clean up the table then took a quick shower, putting my old clothes back on after. I walked into Percy's room where he was playing with Riptide in pen form.

"Hey Perce."

He looked at me and responded with a quick, "hey."

"Do you plan on starting those therapy session soon."

"Um... I'm not planning on doing them. I'm going to give them to my mom. She needs to heal from Gabe."

"You do, too. And the whole... Suicide thing."

"I promised myself i won't. Try to kill myself again, that is. Or even hurt myself anymore. You dont need to worry, Nico. Things have started to get better."

"That's very selfless of you, but you need them."

"Nope," was Percy's only response.

"Fine. But go to one of them. You can go with Your mom if you want but at least get profession advice."

Percy seemed to think about it for a minute. "Deal," he finally said. "But she will go with me. Tomorrow. And she will also be going to the other 2. Alone."

I nodded, happy that Percy would at least see the therapist once.

"Now," percy said, surprising me. I thought he was done talking. "Lets go shopping."

Happy birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! For Christmas, i got banditø concert tickets (ahhhhhhh!!!!!) And a boyfriend!

That's actually not a joke my crush asked me out christmas eve.

Anyway, please tell me where this story should go and how to improve. Smut should be coming pretty soon, maybe within next 3-5 chapters. Ill try to update fast.
