I'm going to try hard today...

I have to.

This is my first proper chance to make a lasting impression on Lily.

Caspian has been able to recover enough to go to the party, but of course, he should avoid drugs and alcohol. The nurses have advised that I look out for him, just in case if he does fall ill again- and if he does, I should bring him straight home.

Caz never told me, however his father is completely against any of the Forelli family going to the hospital. Something about not being able to trust them.

"It's Saturday my dude. (signed)". Caspian smiled weakly.

"You should be staying at home; I don't believe that you're better yet. (signed)". I erased the last sentence of the essay I was writing, as it made no sense.

"No way! You care too much. You think I'm going to let you have all the fun?! (signed)".

"Of course not. (signed)". I laughed off my sarcasm, which he didn't seem to notice.

"So, you're bringing Lily to the party? (signed)".

"Yeah... But, I'm not sure what I should wear. (signed)".

"Well, you know that isn't a problem that can't be solved. (signed)".

All morning and for most of the afternoon, I had been finishing a basketball essay with a deadline for next week, so I've been really looking forward to a break from the non-stop writing. Caz has been excused from his sport essay because of his health, but that won't stop him from going to the party.

"Have you been to a party before, Caz? (signed)".

"Because of my dad's occupation, he didn't want me going to parties, in case I ruined his reputation. (signed)". He held his dressing-gown together as he swivelled on the desk chair.

"Oh, right. I've never been to one either. Would he allow you go to this party if he knew about it? (signed)".

"Maybe in a different dimension... But, not in this one. He's very strict about it. (signed)".

"That's a shame; I guess we'll just have to make sure he never finds out. (signed)".

"I'd be dead if he did. (signed)". Caspian twisted another piece of paper into an origami creation.

"Done!! (signed)". I said, relief exploding from my open arms as they throw themselves into the air.

"Great! To the wardrobe it is! (signed)".

Caspian's been waiting for ages for me to finish my assignment. He didn't complain about the lengthy amount of time it took- just sat there patiently, making origami creatures and arranging them on the desk in front of him. I wonder when he had the time to learn to do all this?

Apparently, James has been on a business trip and that's why haven't seen much of him for the past couple of days. But, Gunner announced to us this morning that James should be back tomorrow, in the early hours.

"Do you think Luke's going to be there? (signed)".

"I doubt it. (signed)".

"I wish he was coming. I feel like he's isolating himself. (signed)". I want to talk to him. I can't calm this raging ocean of curiosity, if I haven't a clue as to what's going on...

"We can't assume anything, but you've already tried reaching out to him. So, he knows that you're here for him and it's his choice whether he takes your hand, or not. Anyway, I want you try this on. (signed)". Caz held up a leather jacket, with a white, silky blouse, black jeans and smart pointed shoes. It's a flashy outfit, not my style... But, it still looks pretty cool.
