*Joes POV*
I stepped off he plane in Australia feeling surprisingly fresh, 17 hours on a plane as well as three hours at Stanstead (A/N I might get some facts wrong in this but it's fine) hadn't effected me as much as I thought, maybe it's just because I'm so excited to see my red headed girlfriend!
Mark and I had planned this all months ago when Dianne had told her parents we were together, I had spent endless nights on the phone to him while Dianne wasn't around planning how I'd get there, booking flights and working out exactly how we were going to surprise the girl who we both loved so dearly, as I stepped out of the airport into the Australian sun I began to get butterflies in my stomach, I honestly couldn't wait to see the look on her face when I woke her up on Christmas morning.
*Diannes POV*
"ANDREWWWW" I screamed through the house, he's as deaf as anything sometimes, "IM TAKING THE LITTLE ONES FOR ICE CREAM, BE BACK SOON" I had agreed to take my niece and nephew for ice cream on Christmas Eve evening ages ago and Auntie Dianne doesn't break promises, I may not be around much anymore mainly because I live on the other side of the world but when I'm here I'm the most fun auntie anyone could wish for,
"RACE YA" I laughed as I ran down towards the ice cream shop, two little laughs and two small pairs of feet chasing after me
Totally out of breath we all sat on the grass eating our annual Christmas Eve ice cream and talking about where Father Christmas would be now,
"He'll soon be on his way you know, I bet he's packing up his sleigh for you now"
I laid back and looked at the sky, I started to think about what joe would be up to now, he's only just waking up back in Wiltshire, probably causing yet more mischief in his dads house, as usual, he doesn't know it but I've been secretly watching his old vlogs and watching him wind up his dad made me cry from laughter every time
"Who's ready to go on the swings?"
We all jumped up from the grass and raced towards the swing set, I got the job of pushing and in this moment I couldn't be more content
*Joes POV*
"I've just arrived in Australia" I said to my vlogging camera "I'm here to surprise Dianne for Christmas and to my knowledge she has no idea sooo fingers crossed I guess"
Shutting my camera off my phone buzzes in my pocket
Joe,
Glad you arrived safely, Di has just taken the kids out for a while do you mind waiting at the airport for an few hours until she goes to sleep and I can get you? I'll pay for you to have a meal or something!

Yeah of course, don't be silly I can pay! Take your time I want her to be asleep when I come, this is going to be the BEST surprise!

I stared to edit a vlog in a nearby cafe, quickly getting into the swing of it and totally losing track of time, the next time I looked up it was 10pm and totally dark outside, I saved my progress and looked at my phone, I watched Diannes adorable Instagram stories of her niece and nephew on the swings and then watching the Santa tracker on the tv. I cannot wait to surprise them all, Mark had told me that the kids talk about me more than Dianne does! As I'm about to close my phone and tidy away a text comes through from Dianne
I'm going to sleep now, good night my Joseph Sugwell, I miss you more than anything❤️ Merry Christmas🎄 I love you xxxxx
My heart fluttered when I read the last words, I really am in love with this girl

As soon at that message had sent another cane through

Now leaving to get you, she's out of it!😂 I'll be there in 20 minutes, wait outside in the Taxi rank

I watched a car pull up and a man, fitting the exact description Dianne had given me so many times, get out of the driver side
"Joe Sugg, we finally meet"
"Mr Busswell it's such a pleasure to meet you"
We shook hands and I slipped into the seat on the passenger side.
"Let's get this show on the road" Mark started up the engine and we headed off to the Busswells family home.
