"I've been living with devils and angels, angels, angels. Realised you and I were in the same boat, same boat. yeah. Kills me how you love me then you, cut me down, I'll do the same, we've been living like angels and devils, devils... I'm loving the pain, I never wanna live without it... so why do I try? You drive me insane, now we're screaming just to see who's louder, so why do I try?" -Ariana Grande-Butera
"We are almost there, this way," a Duchess spoke, leading Thomas and Giorgia down into the treasury. Giorgia was weary in the atmosphere, knowing her brother had been the one to put a bullet in Tatiana's head.
But, they hadn't known that, and if she or Thomas wanted to get home to their son, they had to make sure that they had no idea about it.
"The treasury was built two hundred years ago to protect the King's Jewels, in case of French invasion," she explained, leading them through a metal door. "We are now underneath the River Thames."
As the two were lead through, Thomas walking a few steps in front, Giorgia had to suppress a laugh at the Russians eyeing her up. She was used to the wolf whistles and the glares, but there was one thing about Giorgia Capone that not many people knew.
She fucking hated the Russian's.
"Look at me one more time and I'll drain the lot of ya," she smirked, tapping a Russian's cheek as she walked through the door in her seven-inch heels.
"I wouldn't threaten them if I were you, the dogs can understand a human's language. They'll maul you in seconds."
"Yeah, well I can kill dogs with my bare hands, so let's see who wins this fight, sweetheart," Giorgia spat back, her face inches from the Duchess'.
"Giorgia," Tommy warned, grabbing her arm and pushing her in the direction of the Jewels. "You keep your mouth shut, you hear me?" He hissed, only loud enough for her to hear.
"And what the fuck are you going to do about it?"
"Giorgia," he stopped her, pulling her in front of him so her face was inches from his. "This is not a fucking game we want to play."
"These bastards killed my brother, forgive me if I don't greet them with two kisses," she replied harshly, ripping her arm from Tommy's hold and walking through the final door.
"Your jeweler," the Duchess spoke, Alfie Solomons stood in front of the two, his wrists bound with rope.
"I,- I, I don't think they trust me, Tommy," Alfie spoke.
"Mr. Solomons is the only jeweler I trust in London."
"Yes. Trust. Yes," Alfie reiterated, "might have to add that on the old invoice."
Grunting while the ropes were cut from his wrists and voicing a sarcastic 'thank you', the Duchess spoke up once more. Giorgia leaned against the brick wall and lit a cigarette, all heads on her. "Oh, sorry, do you have rules down here?"
"We don't allow smoking under the river," the Duchess spoke.
"Hm," Giorgia frowned, "shame you don't abide by rules of another kind though."
Tommy shot her a glaring look before gesturing for the Duchess to continue. "As we agreed, your jeweler will now select items of a total of seventy-thousand pound. When you have chosen your items, they will be put into a box and stored."
The Duchess turned her attention on Tommy, her eyes diverting to Gia momentarily. "When you have fulfilled your part of the deal, the box will be delivered to you."
Giorgia huffed while she exhaled the nicotine, the smoke swirling around her features. "No, you will deliver the box to me."
"Giorgia," Tommy warned, and this time, Alfie spoke up too.
