"I don't wanna waste no time, yeah... you ain't got a one track mind, yeah... have it any way you like yeah... and I can tell that you know I know how I want it," -Ariana Grande-Butera
"You, you love it how I move you,
You love it how I touch you,
My one, when all is said and done,
You'll believe God is a woman.
And I, I feel it after midnight,
A feeling that you can't fight,
My one, it lingers when we're done,
You'll believe God is a woman."The gentle hum of Giorgia's voice could be heard by the angels in the farthest corners in heaven.
At least that's what Thomas argued.
He sat in the Garrison with his three brothers, discussing business as per usual with copious amounts of whiskey being drunk as they formulated plans. Illegal, of course. Their thoughts and their conversation tracked as they heard the beautiful voice from outside the room. To say they weren't intentionally listening because they were blown away by her voice would be a lie. Each Shelby had a jaw on the floor as they listened. The changes in her pitch and the powerful vibrato off her lungs shook the Garrison as they all listened in awe. She had the voice of an angel.
"I think you need to quit your day job, love," Tommy smirked as he walked out of the occupied room and walked behind the bar. Giorgia couldn't help but feel embarrassed. She was here to do business, not to become a part of Small Heath's choir.
"Sorry I forget I do it sometimes," G smiled lightly, drinking the vodka tonic she had made herself earlier.
"Ah, it's alright, not many people around here have that voice on them," he smiled as he grabbed two more bottles of Irish whiskey. "Care to join us?" He asked, G looking like she'd seen a ghost. Tommy couldn't help but laugh at her obvious innocence. "Don't worry, I won't make you sing in front of them."
A quick nod from Giorgia and she was sat in the side room next to the Shelby boys. "What you planning?" She asked, taking a cigarette from Tommy and allowing him to light it for her.
"Tommy's got a charity ball this Friday, we're working out who we want there and who we don't." John chimed as he chewed the end of his cigar. "You should come, sing for 'em." He teased, causing G to roll her eyes in response.
"Come on, G. It'll be fun!" A rather drunk Arthur exclaimed.
"What time?" She sighed, knowing she wasn't getting out of this one.
"Starts at eight, wear something nice," Arthur smiled. "And tight."
The boys let out a throaty laugh as Giorgia rolled her eyes at the eldest Shelby's comment. "Fine but I ain't singing," she compromised, earning a few huffs from the boys. "I'm here for business, not for the next fucking talent show."
"Alright boys, leave her be," Tommy laughed as he watched his brother's sulk. "Right, anyone you don't want there Giorgia?"
"As long as Sabini ain't there, I'm all good." She laughed, thinking back to the incompetent Italian man with a rather laughable lisp.
"Enemies?" Finn asked, the first time she had heard him speak.
"Not at all, there was never any competition. He's just a filthy minded incompetent twat," she scoffed.
