"He wasn't my everything till we were nothing, and it's taken me a lot to say, now that he's gone my heart is missing something, so it's time I push my pride away... cause you are, you are, you are my everything," -Ariana Grande-Butera

After standing and staring at the photo of her daughter for what felt like hours, Giorgia joined Tommy and the remaining Shelby's in the main hall. She smiled for photos and engaged in numerous conversations with the guests, the majority of the time the topic being Alicia.

She kept her eye out for Charlie, always worried he'd wandered off and got lost, being the adventurous boy he was. She'd lost count the number of times Charlie had run off and left Giorgia worried sick, running around the house looking for him to be sitting in a corner or behind a curtain playing with his toys.

He was a sneaky one, and Giorgia most definitely knew where he got that trait from.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Shelby, he wants you," one of the women called to Giorgia, her heart stopping at the words of 'Mrs. Shelby'.

"I'm not a Shelby, but thank you," she kindly smiled, scooping Charlie into her arms, his crying coming to a halt as he rested his head in her neck.

"Oh, my mistake, Mr. Shelby told us you were his wife," she said back, a confused look on her face, but nothing beat Giorgia's face at the words.

"Oh did he now," she sighed, looking over to the handsome Brummie who was mid-conversation with someone, looking as interested as he could be.

"For the record, miss, you'd make a lovely husband and wife," she smiled, resting her hand on Gia's forearm before walking away. Giorgia sighed before pressing a kiss to Charlie's hair and walking over to Ada.

"You look...," she studied her, "interested."

"Ha," Giorgia mocked, "very funny."

"Look it'll be over soon, and we'll go out and get drunk," Ada chimed.

"I can't," Giorgia replied, quickly thinking of an excuse.

"And why not?"

"Someone's got to look after Charlie," Giorgia scoffed, trying her best to sound as convincing as possible.

"Bollocks," Ada huffed, "that's what Tommy hired Mary and Frances for!"

"Ada -"

"No," she cut her off, "I won't hear it. We are going to consume copious amounts of my father's gin and we won't remember a fucking thing in the morning."

"Ada," she sighed, "I really can't."

"What are you, pregnant?" Ada laughed, quickly noticing the look on Gia's face and her expression going blank. "Shut the fuck up."

Giorgia smiled nervously before Ada grinned like a child, trying to contain her excitement. "You sneaky bitch! How far gone?" She asked in a hushed tone.

"About four months, give or take."

"I assume my brother doesn't know?"

"No, and you won't tell him, Ada," Gia warned. "No I mean it, I have to focus on Charlie right now. I'll tell him when the time is right."

"You can't hide away from this, G... it's happening," she smiled, taking Charlie from her arms.

"Too fucking right it is," Giorgia sighed. "I'll tell him when this is over, I promise."

"Go and see your man, he keeps looking over," she winked, walking away from Gia. Giorgia turned around and saw Tommy staring right at her, a subtle lip bite causing her to laugh.
