Spiders And Snakes

Danny, Ron, and Fang walked through the forest for god knows how long following the trail of spiders. They made sure they didn't step on any and Ron eventually spoke, "Danny, I don't like this, Danny I don't like this at all."

"We're fine, calm down, and be quiet."

Danny then saw that the spiders were going through a large hole in the ground and Ron spoke, "Can we go back now?"

"Not yet, let's go."

Danny went through the large hole and Ron followed him, when they came out the other side of what turned out to be a large tunnel Danny felt like he was being watched. As they walked farther in they heard a loud crash before a voice spoke, "Who is it?"

Danny looked at Ron, "Stay calm."

The voice spoke again, "Hagrid, is that you?"

Danny spoke, "No, but we are friends of Hagrid's." As soon as Danny was done with his sentence some very large spider legs appeared before the rest of the spider slowly crawled out of it's hiding place. Danny looked at the spider, "So I'm guessing your Aragog."

"Yes, Hagrid has never sent men into our hollow before."

"He's in trouble, people are blaming him for opening the chamber of secrets like fifty years ago."

"That's a lie, Hagrid never opened the chamber of secrets."

"I know he didn't, so that means your not the monster."

"No, the monster was born in the castle, I came to Hagrid from a distant land, in the pocket of a traveller."

Ron looked at him, "Danny."

He looked at Ron, "Calm down Ron." Danny looked at Aragog, "I need to know what killed that girl fifty years ago."

"We do not speak of it, it is an ancient creature we spiders fear above all others."

"Did you see it?"

"I never saw any part of the castle but the books in which Hagrid kept me, the girl was discovered in a bathroom, when I was accused Hagrid brought me here."

Ron tugged on his sleeve, "Danny."

Danny turned to him, "What is so damn important that you..." Ron pointed up while Danny was talking and when Danny saw the large spiders all around them he cursed himself for not paying attention. Danny looked at Aragog, "Well it looks like we've run out of time, thank you for playing 'what is that monster' and we'll see you never."

"Go, I think not, my sons and daughters do not harm Hagrid on my command. But I can not deny them fresh meat when it wonders so willingly into our midst, goodbye friend of Hagrid."

Ron looked at him, "Can we panic now?"

At that exact moment a spider landed next to them and Danny passed Ron the lantern before punching it. He did his best to fend off the spiders but there were way too many for him to get rid of without using his powers. Danny took out his wand and so did Ron, Ron looked at him, "Know any spells?"

"One, and it's definitely not powerful enough for this."

"Where's Hermione when you need her?"

Danny growled to himself, it looked like he wouldn't have any choice but to use his powers. The spiders got closer and right as Danny got ready to attack a pair of bright lights blinded him and when he looked it was a familiar car. The car barreled through the spiders and stopped right in front of him and Ron, then the doors opened.

Danny looked at Ron, "Let's go." The two quickly ran into the car while Fang got in the back and they shut the doors just before the spiders closed in again. Danny looked at Ron, "Punch it!"
